Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

They barely taught us history when I was at skool o_O

LOL! :D There was a case here some years ago, where an old man, who had been deaf in one ear most of his life, had a bump on the head, and a rolled-up bus ticket fell out of his ear. He then remembered that he had pushed it in there as a schoolboy! The date on the ticket could still be read  His deafness was cured :D
Another guy had a seed in the ear, they discovered it when a small branch showed.

Maybe I'll call her Tommy... ;)

Well isn't that a bugger, arthritis a respecter of no one.:(

Great shirt!

This thread has stirred my interest. Where does one go about finding a lambs foot? I have seen a few on the place that I don't think can be discussed on here, but they all ship from the UK, and list freight as the option, and I've never bought from there if it was out of the country. Are these safe to order and how long does it take and is it expensive shipping?
If you had a paid membership (only $10 for Basic) you could send a private message to Jack; otherwise, you may have to give him your e-mail address.

Wow, what a great thread, kudos to you Jack Black and all who contribute here. All the lamb foot knives and excellent photos of them, it is such a pleasure to come visit and see different pictures. There are many creative and gifted people here, the photos showing the same knife look entirely in the different settings.

They have predicted 8-12 inches of snow here, most of the schools in the metro area announced that they would be closed today. It started raining last night and continues this morning. It is snowing and blowing right now...real nasty.

I've called a record day and have started with a tribute to you Jack and all UK-ers...Have a great day Guardians

Wow! Almost as early as Rocky! Usually ibuprofen helps me with arthritis pain. Should have taken some this morning. Need to buy some to keep at the office. Hope your day gets better!

Yeah, me too, Diclofenac even better, but I had to stop taking both :( Thanks Vince, it's been OK :)

:D

Great-looking knife JP

Wonderful pic Dwight, great use of colour :) You must be very nimble to be able to get down that low :)

Wouldn't swap, you're right! Probably my most carried knife.

Great stuff Vince, it's always cool to see your pics of it :)

That reminds me: I should put on my hearing aids so I can "hear stupid things better"!

I carry ear-plugs in my bag, so I don't have to listen to some of the idiots I encounter on public transport

Nice to see your interest @jec88, and thank you for being well-informed about the forum rules  We try not to have commercial discussions here, and I think you are already aware of the options on the net. Vince is correct, a paid membership supports BF, is great value, and allows private discussion of these matters :thumbsup

Congratulations to all Guardians on the 800 page mark! :D I think some Ironwood is in order for today! :D

Darn it! My rotten internet connection has killed your pic, but I know it was a good 'un Ron, I'm sure I'll see it again when I re-load the page ;)

Celebrating 800+ pages! Pile side of the 2019 Guardian.

Definitely worth celebrating my friend :)

Thanks Preston, kudos to you too :) Sorry to hear about your weather, that sounds pretty extreme  Sounds you've got a great plan though, thanks for the pic

I still think we should get some made up "The Guardians" "Lambsfoot Chapter":D

:D

Taking on some lovely character Taylor :)

Thank you Jack. No, relatively speaking, I wouldn't use "nimble" to describe me. I am not very swift or fluid these days. But I'm also not in a hurry. :D Thanks again and I hope you are doing well.

Determination will get you through a lot my friend, I'm impressed :) I'm OK thanks Dwight, I might even celebrate our recent milestone with a beer later ;) :D

haha, that's why I wear slip-on boots and shoes, I can't hold my breath long enough to tie my shoes.:p

LOL! :D I know what you mean Dave, I find it a lot easier since I lost a little weight :)
