The beginning of quantity over quality strategy for TV programming. Now with satellite tv you can have 300+ channels of nothing worth watching!Yes, sir: three! In the 1970s we got a public broadcasting channel and one or two Mexican stations. Then cable came about 1980 or so with dozens of channels.
I like Godzilla.Yes!!! Such great childhood memories!!!
Ultraman was fantastic because it mixed sci-fi, a superhero, and Godzilla style monsters.![]()

Off to a "rocky" start!
Another great photo! What is your little colorful prop?
Very cool tools!!Somebody in Japan has just added more digits to pi. Quite a few.
The talk earlier of what heaven looks like reminded me of the estate sale where I got these saws. (And a hatchet of exceptionally hard steel.) I almost had to doubt that the deceased had gone to a better place than the shop he had had to quit.

Another great pairing!Cheers!

You really DO have pies today!A very successful Pi Day, if I do say so myself.
I am ready to lay down and enter my food coma now.
I had apple/pear pie, apple pie, Oreo cream pie, and best of all... chicken pot pie.![]()

And there is my Lambsfoot peaking out of its slip to be part of the festivities...
You might also notice that one of my students knitted me a coffee cup coaster so I wouldn't leave rings on the counter.![]()
Superman is my favorite because he "fights a never-ending battle for truth, justice, and the American way!"Bonus picture from work... Some of the "stuff" on my filing cabinet... Can you spot the Lamb?

It was quite tense yesterday, the wind(40-60 mph) rattled my house and the snow drifted as high as six feet...my driveway will have to be cleared out with my neighbor's Bobcat. I know there are folks that had it worse, and the sun is trying to break through. I don't have to be anywhere and have plenty of food etc.
Dutch and Rosie don't seem to mind the snow drifts...

Thanks, Dave, I'll look forward to your 'proper post'!
Yeah. My little sister couldn't fathom how it was possible and was really upset. Crying and carrying on and all...until I came up with the explanation that it musta been a Kryptonite bullet. She bought it and everything was OK then.I was an utterly astonished little kid when I learned that Superman was killed by a bullet

Thanks Dennis!Fantastic woodsGreat foto!

My shoveling days are over, David! If it gets to deep for my Tacoma and the sun doesn't do the job, I just don't go. The man with the Bobcat will be here and take care of the 4-6 foot drifts. February and March are our snowiest months...have had snow and freezing temps around Mother's Day.Crikey Preston! It's spring next week and April in just over two! I wish our winter had been more like though instead of the grim grey murk we had. Good luck with the shoveling.
