I thought I'd post a topical Lambsfoot in tree picNot my carry today, it's my ebony '18
The tree is a very old, spreading oak tree, which I have used as a prop for quite a few pics over the years

Not the best pic, but here it is

I used to drink Bulmer's Strongbow on foreign study in London. We have Strongbow here now, but it's no longer Bulmer's.
It's in focus, why not use it again:

Trying to catch up again!
I just remember drinking a lot of Ten High and Black Velvet in my college years....Both came in plastic bottles that's when you know its good....Sorry, Barrett, but you're wrong about the Wild Turkey.
It is not a bottom-shelf whiskey, and is not that cheap. About the same price as Jameson. And the original Wild Turkey 101 (not the stupid watered down 81) is one of the best bourbons on the market. I have tasted some that cost a lot more, but I'd rather have Wild Turkey. Just as good as when I started drinking it over 40 years ago.
Trying to catch up again!

Returned yesterday from a father and son camp out hosted by the school I work at. No pics as it was a “device-free” event. We had a great time! I had my three oldest boys and we played football and fished and hiked and played capture the flag and enjoyed the time with other dads and sons. I fell behind five or six pages in the meantime!
Here’s a photo I took on our afternoon walk today:

Good oneI love jokes like that!Unfortunately, one of my favourites relates to a cheap blended whisky called 'White Horse', which was once absolutely ubiquitous here, but is very uncommon now (because it's rotten)
A white horse goes into a pub.
The barman says, "Hey, we've got a whisky named after you!"
The horse replies, "Why, do they call it Eric?"
Thank you kindly, Harvey! That sure is a nice looking one, Dennis.

I love the special editions sculptures like this Wild Turkey. I remember from the 50s, as a little kid, one from Drambuie Liqueur, on my parents’ dresser. You pulled off the bottle and the base remained with a ballerina. You wound the key and she would dance.

I’m pleased with the knife, but it’s not the Lambfoot I was expecting. I won’t show it here, but I will show it elsewhere. Thank you for asking, tho. Thanks my friend.
