Another great story. I think I like Raymond!Thank you Vince, I think that's trueI was once in a pub, one Sunday afternoon, having a pint, and got into conversation with Raymond. Soon after, the friends I'd been drinking with had to leave, and not long after Raymond suggested we go for a drink at a pub I'd never been to before. It was quite a distance away, but he talked it up until I agreed. When we got there, he introduced me to a couple of fellers, and it turned out he was in a pub quiz team with them, and he had promised to bring a recruit with him as they were short-numbered!
We ended up competing against a team from another pub, and winning a gallon of beer

Thanks, Harvey, I appreciate it!Love the perspective of this close up and personal image of your Lamb, Dennis. You mentioned John Prine, one of my favorites.
Thanks, Dennis, I think the Dirt Band has been together just about as long as the Stones.Great song, Dave!![]()
Thanks, Jack. I am just learning how to use Imgur for my pictures. I had been using Flickr, but am having problems uploading images. Besides, they are going to be charging big fees to use them. Sometimes I post directly from my phone, but I have to reduce the file size and the picture is not as clear. That looks like beautiful weather Vince, and a beautiful pic of your beautiful knife![]()

Thanks, Jack! I have never heard this before, what a great look back into the history of Mr. Bill 'Bojangles'Thanks Dave, I remembered now, the feller was called Raymond! What a character!
That's a classic song my friend, and a sad one I think. I like Nina Simone's version, and Sammy Davis Junior, who was taught to tap dance by Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Robinson), could also perform a poignant version![]()

They're still around?!Thanks, Dennis, I think the Dirt Band has been together just about as long as the Stones.![]()
They are still doing the circuit all the way up to Alaska across Canada then back to the good ole US eh?They're still around?!
Cool! I saw Gordon Lightfoot here a few years ago. Didn't know he was still touring, but a friend had front row tickets and couldn't go, so he gave them to me. He put on a great show. They are still doing the circuit all the way up to Alaska across Canada then back to the good ole US eh?
I have seen them twice now, a fine bunch of fellas.![]()
Could be anti-knife people... or could be the super fast, Mall Ninja, modern knife guys that don't like the "Old Timey" stuff.Well, I posted the above picture, and it appears people can view it and give it an "upvote" or a "downvote", and also make comments. Someone commented on this picture with a "meme" that said "But why?"! Another picture of Ashley's Choice got 3 upvotes and 7 downvotes! There are a lot of anti-knife people out there, it seems.

Anyway, I "edited" the photos to be "hidden" rather than "public".![]()
Thanks, Barrett. So far, I think Imgur is easier to use than Flickr. And easy to use from my phone, too. There are "public" and "private" options for posting images on Imgur. The same thing happened to me when I first started using the site. I posted an image (publicly, unbeknownst to me) and it got some... weird comments. Post them as private, won't be a problem. You can still share your posted photos the same on here, but they won't be publicly posted on Imgur, and no one will be able to comment/vote on them there. (If you're uploading from your phone, there's a dropdown to choose public or private. On the desktop site, I think the default is private, and you can choose to "publish" them publicly.)
Yeah, he sure is getting the weathered look if only I could be as thin as him again. I had front row seats for Alabama and Dwight Yoakam. But the guys that gave the best show we thought, was Alan Jackson and Neil Diamond.Cool! I saw Gordon Lightfoot here a few years ago. Thanks Harvey!Half/Stop With that beautiful Lamb, one is all you need.
My favorite John Prine song " Speed of The Sound of Loneliness"John Prine got old(just like me). Still sounds great.
Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan are still touring, too. Saw them together here where they played at the AA ballpark (with some youngster: John Cougar Mellancamp). I couldn't understand a word Bob sang, but Willie really enunciates clearly.Yeah, he sure is getting the weathered look if only I could be as thin as him again. I was just listening to this song last night! Him, Levon Helm, and Guy Clark.John Prine got old(just like me). Still sounds great.
Jack Black that experimental threaded bolstered Rosewood is sweet.
