Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Dylan, is that Weller a new release, or an old dusty you've been saving? And is there an age statement on it?

Good evening, Guardians.

I thought I would drop in and say hello. We've had some excellent sunshine the last few days and it seems like it is starting to warm up a bit. As nice as that is, it means spring chores are right around the corner...

However, tonight warrants a libation and a smoke.

Looking good, Dylan. Got that lambsfoot in my pocket and some Jameson in my hand (bought a bottle Saturday for some reason).
Cheers!

Cheers Dylan. So much nice there. Cool cigar wrapper on the Baccarat. You don’t see that combination very often.

Thank you, Harvey. This is the first cigar I've tried with a Candela wrapper. Apparently, they were far more common in days past. Quite good really.

Jeff, this is the second Weller I've tried (the first being the Antique 107). I'm not sure how new it is but I do know that it is a current offering. Apparently, it was a 7 year bourbon before they started offering it without the age... Who knows what it actually is now. Still, it is inexpensive and quite good for the price.

Thank you, Vince. Nothing wrong with a bit of Irish and a Lambsfoot.

Howdy, Guardian's ! I just got back from NAHBS, 4 straight days of amazing hand built bicycles. I am beat!

Great composition Kevin :) Hope you had a fantastic time my friend :)

A sign from my Grandfather's old bar back in the 40s/50s

Very cool John

@Jack Blade
Jack, for posting the Nina Simone version of "Mr. Bojangles" I owe you my finest effort of a Lambs Foot photo. I know it's considered a sad song but it takes me back to one of my happiest times and listening to Nina sing, especially that rendition, is always an honor.

A pleasure Alan, your pics are always something to look forward to :)

Thank you again, my friend, I'm having a tough time keeping up today the grandson is over if you know what I mean lol ;)

Yikes! Have fun Dave! :D  When I was in my early 20's, I was a youthworker, and would be looking after groups of 70 kids! Ten minutes with a young 'un now, and I am worn out! :D

Very cool Fender!!:cool::thumbsup: A Champ?
I have a 50 Amp tubed Laney, a great amp, but I would love to trade it in for a Acoustasonic.

Thanks Dennis :)

That's a newer reissue 5F1 Champ (handwired :D too!).

Makes the cats cry and the dogs howl...:p

I thought you gents might enjoy this

Hello Guardians!
Winter is on the ropes here, and not a moment to soon!

Nice to Spring is arriving Mark, lovely pic (don't forget my PM)

I don't get tired of this one:

Glad you're liking it Vince :)

Well maybe you should...

I don't blame you Vince. That's a lovely specimen of ironwood and of lamb. We sure are fortunate to have Jack. :)

Thank you Dwight, you folks are very kind to me :)

After looking thru this thread, I'm convinced there must be a bunch of three legged sheep in this world? :p

Nice Knives!

Yeah, but it's a dry heat! :p:mad::p

It's very hilly round Sheffield (built on 12 hills like Rome), and so a shortened leg can be an advantage for the sheep in terms of getting round them ;) :D

Your Lambsfoot reminds me of Elvis Jeff! :D

Because I carry a lambsfoot....

... breaking down cardboard boxes for recycling on trash day is satisfying, enjoyable work. :D

How 'bout you?

You've been gone too long Greg! :)

Nice pairing Vince ;)

Lovely pic Dwight :)

Morning folks, hope everyone's week is off to a reasonable start :) Here, the weather forecasters have been threatening Snowpocalypse for weeks  Having got that one completely wrong, they're now saying we'll get an "early Spring" (maybe one of the idiots finally took a look out of the window, and a glance at the calendar)! o_O Sheffield City Council have also been surpassing themselves in the stupidity stakes, flying this flag on St Patrick's Day! o_O

Thought I'd have a change today, and take Marilyn out for a twirl ;) Have a great day Guardians

That reminds me of the Python episode about the extraterrestrial giant man-eating blancmanges that meant to win Wimbledon. It got an extra laugh at least twice when Welshmen in particular were turned into Scotsmen.
Maybe the constituents of the Celtic Fringe are indistinguishable to the English, as the Sheffield flag blunder might suggest, or maybe there's a famous animosity between the Welsh and Scots? If the latter, it didn't stop my Great Great Grandma Hughes's brother from marrying one.

That is so very cool!:thumbsup: Do you have a man cave to hang it in? What a treasure!
Thanks, Dennis. It hung in my room as a kid, in my dorm room my senior year, and every house I've rented or owned as an adult.

Beautiful picture, Mark.

Splendid picture, Vince.

I mentioned before that I lived in Scottsdale. I never get tired of your pictures of Camelback.

That picture makes me want to relax on the porch, Dylan.

Wood, leather, and steel. A manly representation, Jeff.

Nice. I'm lucky that I don't have to break down my cardboard, we have dumpsters we can toss them in.

Another exquisite photo, Dwight.

Very cool John
Thanks, Jack.

Blondie is looking pretty, Jack.

A fine assortment of Lambs, Jer.

Sweet, Del!
Where at in AZ are you?

GREAT shot, Mark! :)
Lovely photo, ....but I think I see a sasquatch in the treeline in the background!:D

Thanks, Dennis!
I think I see him too, dragging his knuckles! :D

Beautiful horn there, looks good in the different lighting!

St. Patrick's Day has always been my favorite Welsh holiday. (At least, I think that's the Welsh flag? It's hard to tell through all the snow...) :D

I don't remember that one Jer :D Maybe they're indistinguishable to Sheffield City Council, despite Sheffield's large Irish population, which goes back centuries  Nice family pic there :)

Nice! High speed all around!

Thanks, youz twoz. It was a blast, sooo much to see! Here is one of my friends bikes that he brought to show. It was his first NAHBS and he got a great response from everyone. I won't blow up this thread with show pics but I might post a few in the lounge. Have great day folks!
