I really get a kick when you refer to Ari as that is the name of my wife's grandsonWalking my pal Ari, I realized I was wearing a pair of comfortable, but beat up shoes. Out of nowhere(in my head), I started to softly sing an old 1930s Delta Blues song called “Mean old walking blues.” My favorite version was from the 60s Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
Thank you, Preston!Love your Horn Lamb Foot, Dennis. I wasn't expecting anyone to know Shady Grove, That CD cover is from Jerry Garcia and David Grisman. One of my favorites.
And what a grand Totem it is, Dave! It's final! my ironwood lambsfoot will be called "The Totem"

He must have been quite a character, the sort of figure described by tabloid papers as a ‘colourful identity’.
Love the photo, Dennis - I’ve heard quite a bit about Hatch chiles. It’s a New Mexico thing to roast them, yeah? In fact I roasted and salted some Cayennes the other day, to try to make my own version of the green chile burger. They look delicious!
They are great chilies! The have a big festival, and the colors are awsome!Cheers! But what fantastic colours in those chillies![]()
Very nice, José! Congratulations! As promised here are the first pictures of my "19".
For me it's a beauty...

Jack Black Have fun with Miss Lucy.
dc50 Good looking scale color and nice image.
Half/Stop The stag on your AC is delightful.
JohnDF The way your scene is lit, makes your Ironwood more beautiful, if that’s even possible.
pjsjr A nice subtly image with your Lamb quietly waiting to go into action.

I will have to catch up a little later, it took me longer than I ever thought it would just to catch up in the "Whatcha Totin" thread.... Either the Porch is getting way more activity or I am getting slower....probably both.![]()

Yes, we / they roast them. And it's also very arid there, so you can have them on the string and let them dry out. Then you can grind them up and make a sauce out of them.
Very nice, José! Congratulations!
Agree with Taylor, love them! .......my wallet, ......not so much!
Beautiful pic, Dave!You got gold!
Beautiful, Ron! Blue sky looks nice!
Another excellent photo shot, Alan, that is a handsome knife.
Magnificent Ironwood on your Lamb Foot, Mark,
Nice shot of your knife as well as those manicured nails
That is a great picture, Kevin, no doubt one of your best. I know I type slow and don't spell well so it takes me extra time to post. Just looking at the increase in several areas of BF and there is no doubt more are joining in and contributing...a good thing for the most part.Mornin' Guardians.

Wishing everyone a weekend full of Lambsfoot joy
Raining again today in this part of CA so no pics.
We've had only one "Spring" day so far. Not complain' 'cause we need all the precipitation we can get - but it it's starting to get a little tiresome.
