Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Walking my pal Ari, I realized I was wearing a pair of comfortable, but beat up shoes. Out of nowhere(in my head), I started to softly sing an old 1930s Delta Blues song called “Mean old walking blues.” My favorite version was from the 60s Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
I really get a kick when you refer to Ari as that is the name of my wife's grandson :p
Great selection!! The Butterfield Blues Band is one of the best!
I really enjoy listening to the music posts while reading through this thread. Thanks to all
Wishing everyone a weekend full of Lambsfoot joy :)
Raining again today in this part of CA so no pics.
We've had only one "Spring" day so far. Not complain' 'cause we need all the precipitation we can get - but it it's starting to get a little tiresome.

Mornin' Guardians.

I will have to catch up a little later, it took me longer than I ever thought it would just to catch up in the "Whatcha Totin" thread.... Either the Porch is getting way more activity or I am getting slower....probably both. :D

Been under the weather, and I find myself once again sooooo far behind! So I'll just say great photos, all!!:thumbsup:
Some that caught my attention...

Love your Horn Lamb Foot, Dennis. I wasn't expecting anyone to know Shady Grove, That CD cover is from Jerry Garcia and David Grisman. One of my favorites.
Thank you, Preston!

Love Shady Grove, but can't pick it myself yet:eek:, but I am getting Wildwood Flower.:)
It's final! my ironwood lambsfoot will be called "The Totem" :D

Another phenomenal photo, :eek::thumbsup:Dwight!
I uncovered this old pic of my great great grandfathers traditional Chinese funeral when I was in Malaysia:

He must have been quite a character, the sort of figure described by tabloid papers as a ‘colourful identity’.
Great family history, Chin! Cool photos!:thumbsup:
Love the photo, Dennis - I’ve heard quite a bit about Hatch chiles. It’s a New Mexico thing to roast them, yeah? In fact I roasted and salted some Cayennes the other day, to try to make my own version of the green chile burger. They look delicious!

Cheers! But what fantastic colours in those chillies
They are great chilies! The have a big festival, and the colors are awsome!
Yes, we / they roast them. And it's also very arid there, so you can have them on the string and let them dry out. Then you can grind them up and make a sauce out of them.
As promised here are the first pictures of my "19".
For me it's a beauty...:D:thumbsup:

dc50 dc50 Good looking scale color and nice image.

Half/Stop Half/Stop The stag on your AC is delightful.

JohnDF JohnDF The way your scene is lit, makes your Ironwood more beautiful, if that’s even possible.

pjsjr pjsjr A nice subtly image with your Lamb quietly waiting to go into action.

That is a great picture, Kevin, no doubt one of your best. I know I type slow and don't spell well so it takes me extra time to post. Just looking at the increase in several areas of BF and there is no doubt more are joining in and contributing...a good thing for the most part.

He sent along some sweet treats for me to try. Can't wait for my afternoon coffee break.

The chocolate bars are only a very small way of saying thank you to John. As John was very very generous and paid me well over and above the asking price we agreed on. What a great bunch of Guardians we have.:D
