Called a plumber last week myself. And my wife told me recently the ceiling in our garage is wet. May need to fix roof.Oh yes, the joys of home ownership.
At least you can have a beer and play with knives to make you feel better.
José as we say around here "That's a rip off Man"!The last knife I received they charged me GST tax of $5 and added a fee of $10 to collect the $5

I like the one with Raymond Burr. The ones made in the '60s were good too.I'm really looking forward to the new Godzilla movieNot my sort of thing usually, but I cheered all through Godzilla and laughed all the way through Kong-Skull Island. (Samuel L. Jackson was great!).

My dad's village got electricity so people could watch the Queen's coronation on telly. Mains sewers had to wait 'til 1964
All my mates in N.Yorks have real fires. Seriously, there worth the hassle
So it's not just in Britain that doctor's waiting rooms have been specifically designed to suck the life out of you.....??
Earned. This.

I can add a notch to my belt with the reamer on my Vic Spartan I bought Saturday.Well hopefully go to church maybe. You know, so I don't go to hell. And then eat hot cross buns. 'Cos there's still a couple of notches left on my belt...
That is outrageous. And I thought the $40 shipping I paid for a knife from Spain was bad.![]()
At least you didn't live in a rolled up newspaper!Incredible isn't it? Young 'uns now won't believe you!In my late teens, I spent the bitterly cold 78/79 winter in a house in central Sheffield with no hot running water, a coal fire, and a darn great hole in the roof!
The pipes froze and we had to melt snow at one point!
I'd happily go back to the fire though, always plenty of wood roundabouts
That looks delicious David, nice pic![]()

Ah, my mistake. Thanks, José.Dear Vince, we are not talking about transportation, but about customs costs.
Because transportation we already know when we buy, or accept or not.![]()
A few pages back, I mentioned that I took a pic on the way to the mailbox. Like José, I received a Buffalo Horn that I picked up on the exchange
