Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I haven't been around as long as others, but it's mostly the difference in handle material.

2017 - Horn Lamb, regular sized
2018 - Stag Lamb, small sized
2019 - Ironwood Lamb, regular sized

I'm happy to be corrected on this... :D
I believe the 2018 Guardian was ebony handled. The stag knives were a separate SFO from the same year, like the damascus knives this year.

I think we just missed the 2018 Guardians, joining about the same time, and my first lambsfoot was Ashley's Choice.

I reserve the right to be wrong. ;)
Thanks for clearing that up for us, Vince. I was leading Barry down a path of confusion. Lol

Incredible Dave! Unbelievable actually. What a wonderful talent to carve such a thing as that. So the talented artist is of Ukrainian descent! :) You did mighty good Dave!

A real labor of love.

Oh my, that is amazing, Dave. What a keepsake.

Thank you, friends, it is a unique craft for sure, all the pieces interlock no glue whatsoever.

Sorry to hear you're having to do it alone Dave :( One of the reasons I chickened out of moving myself a few years back was that I suspected I'd have to do most of it myself, and my back was bad at the time. Hope it all goes OK mate
Thank you Jack :thumbsup::)

We are very lucky to have such a great gang here :)
We sure are! :thumbsup::thumbsup::D

That's a fantastic pic Taylor :) I used to drink Chimay beers often, but then neglected them a little, mainly due to the high volume of other great beers around these days. A friend bought me a six pack the other Christmas, and I enjoyed getting reacquainted :)

It was David, the weather certainly helped, glad they got a fine day for the 40th :) Nice pic

Looks great Ron :)

I'm glad yo found it interesting my friend :)

I'm glad everyone is so pleased with them Dwight, I do think they're very special :)

Sounds great Vince, love the pics :)

Very nice Harry, that knife has seen a lot of honest wear, but still has plenty of blade left :) I see a lot of old knives with proud blades like that, the old folks really used their knives :)

A treat for my old eyes Kevin, thank you my friend :) I have a few friends who've climbed McKinley

Morning Guardians, in the late 70's here, and it's not 10.00am yet! I'm not sure what I'm going to do today, quite a bit to do in the house, but I think it's too nice to stay in. I think I'll ponder it awhile ;) Have a good one folks :)

Wonderful Jack, if there ever was a Lambsfoot I envy it would be your D Lamb :cool:

:D

I was playing with my Space Lamb the other day, thinking about its twin over in England with you.

That was fun to watch. Thanks for posting it. :)

It is definitely one of the coolest knives I own John, thanks so much for thinking of me :)

Good Morning and Happy Easter to all The Guardians

Happy Easter John, great pic of your '19

Happy Sunday everyone. Hope it's a great Easter filled with family and good food.:)

Will someone enlighten me as to how you identify the 2017, 2018 and 2019 models from A. Wright?

Two beauties there Barry :)

I'll see if I can remember! ;) Pcs will probably help! :D

The 2017 Guardians Lambsfoot came with a fluted bolster, and 'Super Duper' Buffalo covers:

In 2018, there were two options, an ebony model with a fluted bolster, and a horn model with a threaded bolster. The horn was supposed to be orange and white, but most ended up different, and in fact I only did these because people asked for them:

The 'Ashley's Choice' Lambsfoot, with vintage Sambar stag, a smaller blade and frame, and a threaded bolster, was an extra, also produced in 2018:

This year's knife came with Desert Ironwood covers, and a rat-tail bolster:

Then there were the 20 Damascus-bladed knives, split evenly between 4 patterns:

And hopefully, very soon, there'll be a Lambsfoot Barlow, with vintage Sambar covers, steel pins, liners, and bolsters, and a top-hat kick ;)

Jack Black Jack Black So did you clean or enjoy the outdoors?:)

Peace and Easter Greetings Guardians...
