I'm curious what everyone's knife collection is worth? I asked here since I'm more curious of those who have wilderness related blades.

Axes, saws, knives, multitools, etc... all included! Doesn't have to be wilderness related to be included in your total though.

I'm still working on my total, it's more than I thought. I'm guessing $1500 (some of those being production numbered knives from family, most being 20 years old or more).

And for fun, what's the last knife that you would want to get rid off. Not the last one that you'd sell if you needed money, but the one that would half to be pried from your cold dead hand. Mine would be my Tom Krein Bushcraft that I got as a graduation gift. Though it isn't my favorite user, it has the most meaning.

Around $3000

Busse's command a disproportional amount of that though. Should probably sell some to make way for new gear.... or gas.

Hmm... I'd say right about $1000 with the two on the way this week. That's counting cheap axe, machete, and all the gift knives I've received over the years.

if i were to go out and buy everything new right now it would probably run me somewhere between $1000-2000

but if i tried to sell any of it now i might get $50 for everything...

all of my blades are hard users, nothing gets babied.

I have close to 300 knives, multi-tools, axes, etc. The two that would be hardest to part with would be my original Busse Steel Heart II and my Bark River Evo-1. I'm sure the collection is worth a little, but my firearms are probably a tad more:D

Around 3000 is my estimate. I have a core of about ten knives I refuse to sell and I am on the prowl to replace all my production knives with customs.

If I were to sell off my collection, I could probably buy a pretty nice new car. Don't tell the wife!

I put a number to it earlier this year and I shocked myself:eek:....so if my wife reads this thread I wil not mention any numbers...:D;)

Whatever people are willing to pay for it.

Some of them are "priceless" due to utility or sentimental value.

I just calculated it up in my head, my wife would have my nuts in a jar!

I have no clue. I've been collecting knives for more then 25 years.

300 knives, all in unused condition, x $?.00 = a bunch.

Some have current values that are less than I paid. Some have increased significantly over time. And I never could have predicted which would be which...

Value of the knives that I actually carry? Probably have no value at all, since they're used/sharpened/carried. Maybe $10 for all three?

What they're worth or what I paid for them?

They're worth whatever someone would pay for them.

What I paid for them, altogether, maybe $2800 - about $1800 of that is HI kukris and swords. . .

They still have a blade and do cut, what else do you need from a tool? Someone who wants to buy them for collecting won't give you a second thought but I would easily pay for them 1/2 or 3/4 of what they cost new.

Probably about $10 to most sheeple out there, to myself they are priceless....too many memories invested in them !!!
