Just got the email! 117 Brahma, Cherrywood/Brass, S35VN.

Seems like a fair enough price compared to the Green Micarta S35VN that's already offered on the website. $20 cheaper and a made in the USA sheath. Still gonna be a pass for me, Buck has gotten enough of my money this month

I was hoping for a 117 only in Magnacut. What happened, did they use up all the Magnacut steel for other models?

Oh well, I have the 117 420hc version that does pretty darn good so I guess I’ll just keep saving for retirement.

I wanted a 117 since they came back into regular production. I finally bought a regular black phenolic a few months ago, and really haven't found a good role for it in my rotation.

I ordered one. I have somewhat of a collection of 117s, I love red knives, and it has a good steel. But, dagnabit, I was hoping it was going to be something I wouldn't want so I could save the money.

I like the 117, perfect size. It's a nice looking knife. I like the brass with the red plywood, But I'm passing.
IMO the BOTM's should be geared more towards limited edition One of a kind styles.
