Gun Picture Thread

If all goes well, it will be here today or tomorrow, R. Snow slowed stuff down earlier this week. It comes in from SC, fingers crossed.

On the bright side, I completed my "Range Todo List", and it's supposed to get warmer next week, so I'm ready :)
Awesome. Snow stopped or slowed down a lot from the south.
Looking forward to photos

Looks like paddle mag release?
The mag release is the best one I’ve used. The one on my first model is big enough to operate with trigger or middle finger so I don’t have to shift purchase with my dominant hand.

The ambi safety is larger “paddle” on the second model along with more slide serrations…

I have Gorilla sized hands with long fingers so this one is perfect for me..

I tell you what, R.: the partial government shutdown s*cks :( … She’s gorgeous though - Picking her up next Thursday.
I understand R. I prefer UPS over USPS anyway. I remember when the brown truck was the only way to ship a firearm. When I sent my SR1911 in, Ruger used FedEx. That shocked me.
Hopefully she arrives without incident.

Not my gun, but S&W is bringing back the Nightguard in a scandium L frame. 7-shot .357 Magnum or 5 shot .44 Special. This is a great looking gun and it’s calling my name! View attachment 3091974

There will be very few available, I’m guessing.

Also there also was an original 45 acp nightguard, not sure why they are not doing this one. Not that I’d need one :)

I don’t think .45 acp is very popular in a revolver. Who knows? They may rerelease one in that caliber.

I think starting price is $1300, and I’m very tempted. I’ve been looking at revolvers, but can’t make my mind up on one.

If you manage to get one you’ll be able to resell at higher price soon afterwards. And my Scandium 4” N frame is perfect, if that helps :)

That .44 Special version trips my trigger. I'd love to see more 3" barreled .44s on the market. But I realize I'm in a niche with that desire.

Colt also just announced some gorgeous blued versions of the Anaconda that I'm gonna have to try really, really hard to resist...

I too am a fan of the old "Corn Cob" It really was not broke, why did everybody fix it? You get good grip and it's cheap to produce.

I sort of like the new Mossberg 500 Retrograde, they come gussied up as a Trench Gun, though the lug is for the new short bayonets, not the 30 inch WWI style.
