Gun Picture Thread

I've heard this quite a bit. I really do like all of my M&P's that I own. But I've never had an older S&W revolver to compare a new one to. What is it about the newer ones that you're not a fan of?

That ridiculous internal lock is a big one for me. I can't think of a more stupid thing on a revolver, and it's an abomination, imo. I also think S&W's attention to detail with their revolver manufacturing isn't what it was during the 'glory days' of S&W revolvers.

That stainless P7 looks amazing! And that assortment of P210s are stunning.

How does the modern one compare to the older models?

Thanks but that’s old school NP3 on the P7, back when Robbie still owned it.

The SIG 210’s never fail to be extraordinary…the bottom piece is a Swiss M49 issued to the Danish Police in 1952, a Swiss 210-6 (with .22lr Conversion), an American 210A, an American 210A Carry not pictured, and a NIB German 210 Classic plus my beloved AMT. 😎

The American-made 210’s are basically ‘perfect’ being completely cnc’d and are run on a ‘trigger Dyno’ to ensure that everything is to spec.IMG_3293.jpeg3A16510B-8371-4E0A-B2B5-EFBDC9ACE377.jpegIMG_8337.jpegIMG_0113.jpeg

Might one ask which holster you favor?
It depends on what I’m doing for the day and if concealment is a priority. I appendix carry for deep concealment and I typically use kydex with a wing, to help push the grip of the gun into your body. Like the Tulster holster above. But for all day carry in comfort, it’s always a leather IWB holster at 3 o clock.

Dudley, somehow I knew you’d be showing off your 210 .22 conversion. My son picked up a nice P7 a few years back. He shoots the 210 better but loves that P7.

Ha, you know me too well…..I love a P7, all 4 of mine ;)

The new M&P trigger is a significant upgrade. I'm like it on my M&P 10mm, and after 800 +/- rounds, it has broken in nicely.

100% agree. I had no intentions of buying an M&P but I came across the M2.0 Metal and tried it at a local shop and ended up leaving with it. After shooting it several times I shoot it so well I made it my daily carry. The compact was purchased a few weeks ago as I like how it feels in my hand better than the G19 and decided I'd use it when I wanna carry a slightly smaller/lighter gun than the full size. I shoot the compact equally well.

Don't hear me wrong, I can shoot the Glock just fine and will always own some. But I can stack rounds with this M&P and enjoy it so much.

I love the new triggers on M&Ps. Or at least, the 10mm.
If I ever get out from behind enemy lines and can get full capacity mags, I might convert over to the M&P 9mm, if it has the new trigger. It is SWEET!

I’ve handled the 10mm versions and they’re identical. I’ve been tempted to try the 10mm as I’ve never owned that cartridge.

I love the 10mm as much as I love the M&P. It makes a perfect match, IMO.
I'm not someone who believes the 10mm is a match for a 41 Magnum, even in its hottest load. But it does equal the .357 Magnum, and will carry more rounds.
