wow that’s gorgeous. Tell more please
I'm pretty sure it's a Dan Wesson V-Bob. I wish I would've gotten one about 10 years ago before the price jumped. Now they cost more than what I paid for my Wilson CQB.wow that’s gorgeous. Tell more please
That's the Dan Wesson 'V-Bob' - bobtailed Commander version of one of their flagship models, the 'Valor.' Chambered in .45 ACP (of course). I have a few other DWs, but the V-Bob is hands-down my favorite. It's perfection, as far as I'm concerned.wow that’s gorgeous. Tell more please
Thank you for the info. I’ve had a couple Ed Browns in the past but your Wesson is beautifulThat's the Dan Wesson 'V-Bob' - bobtailed Commander version of one of their flagship models, the 'Valor.' Nope, no intent. Just came out that way. Thats one of my water buffalo overlay holsters. They patina up pretty good. ThanksLooks like the color of that holster is a perfect match for the color of the revolver scales. Was that intentional? Or just wear over time?
Either way, looks beautiful.
Getting to be that time of the year:

Yes sir, they are made by a company called CCI and hav been around for a very long time. I can testify to their extreme effectiveness, they do work not just a gimmick. So folks will carry the snubbie with the first round or two being snakshot. Use to be there was a widespread idea that they wouldn’t function in a semi auto. And I’ve seen them in the past come apart in semis but I think they are building them stronger these days. Couple years back the wife ran several mags through one of her semis to prove to me that they would function the gun and that they would be alright not shaking apart. She was correct. They come in multiple calibers from .22 on up to .45.Now I see why you call it a snake gun, didn’t know the bullet could come in with shot.
I'm not a fan of current production S&W revolvers. Unless I was finding an older S&W in good condition, I'd opt for the GP100. I have the 7-shot 4.25" version, and it's been great. For all you revolver guys, I'm looking at adding a revolver to the collection soon. I had a GP100 in the past and liked it but moved it for something else.
Considering the following
Ruger GP100
S&W 686 Performance Center
S&W 686 Pro Series
S&W 686 Plus Deluxe
Thinking I want a 5 or 6 inch.
What are your thoughts?

I have a GP100 in stainless 4” barrel. Fun to shoot, especially in .38 Special
