I like the Slate rail panels, but I imagine any ol rail panels will work, it's all in what you like. I like the look of these.91bravo a few questions for you.
1. How do you like those Slate Black rail covers? I've been considering those.
2. What sights are you running? I like how slim they are.
3. Is that a K2 or K2XL? I recently have been switching mine over to the XL. I love it.

Aimpoint Pro with the cam lock, it's pretty rare and have seen very few with this type mount. Most are the locking knob mount. The back up sights are the Midwest Industries battle sights.
The grip is plain old K2. The K2XL is a little wide for my hands.
Great sight picture on a 18" rifle.

I got mine in a Black Friday sale a few years ago from Primary Arms for around $70 shipped.I've got some Magpuls that feel great but I like the idea of ones that screw into place rather than pop into place. I've actually had a set of those Midwest Industries. First AR that I bought (2nd hand) had a set on them and when I traded it I didn't realize how expensive they were or I would've taken them off.
Has anyone got a Springfield Echelon yet? Reviews look pretty good.
This is where I’m at. It doesn’t really offer anything more than what I currently have. I don’t really need to swap my trigger group over to a different grip. Once my gun is set, that’s how it stays. We’ll see how it does in the long run, at least there’s no “grip zone” lol. Plus I don’t need to start stocking up on different mags.Time will tell if it sticks and I'm always leary of new platforms and how they stick. I may be wrong but when I buy a handgun I'm buying into an ecosystem so I would need there to be a lot more support before I made the leap. Seems the big 3 right now are Sig (who is also doing chassis models), S&W M&P, and Glock. I have Glock and M&P. I strongly prefer M&P and I wish there was more support for accessories (magazines) with them locally but Glock does dominate that market.
The specific features of the Echelon don't really fix any problem that I currently have at the moment, either. I don't need a chassis system (although I think it's the future for most pistol designs) and I don't run a dot right now (their optics mounting looks to be solid).
