Looking good Jonny !
Thanks my friend! Hope you and the boss are well!Looking good Jonny !
I had to have one. For nostalgia, and it’s fun to shoot and work on.You’re cooking with oil now.
I’ll have to say that I’m hooked! If 1911s were a drug, they'd be more addictive than Fentanyl.
Many moons ago gunwriter Ross Seyfried (Guns & Ammo magazine etc) won an IPSC match with a box stock Colt Government Model - including the G.I. sights - at a time when custom race guns were already the norm in such matches.
That’s the mini me SAW!Man, if a S.A.W. doesn't make this a "Gun" thread, I honestly don't know what does... (*Ramallah, Palestine 2008)

Haha! Troops jumped into combat with the mini me, instead of the full size SAW. Yeah, a mini me would be bad ass!SIZE DOESN'T MATTER!!!
Wait, what?
Those green grips really look nice.I had to have one. For nostalgia, and it’s fun to shoot and work on.
Thanks, I’m returning them unfortunately. They are micarta that have been sealed with polyurethane, which make them slicker than owl shit! .45 will jump around in my hands with no checkering on the frame and smooth grips. Those green grips really look nice.
Yes sir! Those micarta grips look good. VZ, I assume?
