Many of our firearms have names:

This Browning 1895 in .30-06 we call The Big Boomer.

This Uberti 1878 in .357 is Bertie.

This Dan Wesson Specialist in 10mm is my Belt Rifle:

My wife calls her Henry Golden Boy Henrietta.

She also has a Weatherby in 6.5 Creedmore that she refers to as her Bad As. Mamba Jamba. But don't have any pics

Many moons ago gunwriter Ross Seyfried (Guns & Ammo magazine etc) won an IPSC match with a box stock Colt Government Model - including the G.I. sights - at a time when custom race guns were already the norm in such matches.

Thanks, I’m returning them unfortunately. They are micarta that have been sealed with polyurethane, which make them slicker than owl shit! .45 will jump around in my hands with no checkering on the frame and smooth grips.
