Aesthetically, the double diamonds look really nice. For my eyes, they're just classic.

That rig looks great, Jonny. 👍
I love the classic red wooden grips, but my hands prefer Pachmayr grips.

Something tells me someone is getting the 1911 fever. I know he is very fond of other makes and models, but...
When his groups with the Colt equal those from his CZ, we will hear the bank vault door close and know the deal is done.

I’m thinking of selling the CZ to fund another 1911. Yeah, I’ve been bit…

I’m going to trim down to my Glocks for 9mm and 1911s for .45. Well, I’ll keep my G21 and G30, which are both .45 as well.
Understand. If you are trimming down calibers, stay away 10mm. They are very addictive regardless of brand or frame style.

Why do you say 10mm is addictive?

I’ve only shot one once. Considering adding it to the stable. Really like the M&P 10mm.
I have an M&P 2.0 Performance Center. The trigger is awesome. Only negative is barrel length due to comp. 5-1/2". Only found one holster for it. The straight 2.0 shoots great but trigger is gritty.

You can drop an Apex trigger into an M&P and make it feel awesome!

Any particular 1911 catching your eye?
Not particularly. Just kinda window shopping, I’ve browsed some Dan Wesson guns and a few Ed Browns, but they are pricey. I may just buy a stainless Colt and set it up how I like it. I’m very happy with this Government model I have.

Nice photos. The grips on last one look really nice. A question, purely, and not a critique, who do they shoot compared to a metal framed, i don't know, something glock like?

These always looked to me to have rather high bore axis and, presumably, more tendency for the muzzle to lift on recall.

Then again, there plenty gun channels on YT that hate the p320 (prior to the current UD controversy(ies)). One of the complaints I keep hearing is the guns have too high of bore axis. These comments come from commentators in love with high end 1911 and 2011s, as if they are a gift from the holy firearms profit, JMB. They don't seem to realize the bore axis height on these are basically identical to the p320.

They also like sig sauer p22# series and HK polymer handguns prior to the p30, so i have to admit maybe I don't understand or maybe bore axis isn't that noticeable on most modern guns unless one is looking for justifications to further dislike a specific model.
