Gun Picture Thread

I traded my Glock 26 for my wife’s P365. She shoots the G26 SO much better than the 365. The original 365 grip posted above, was a little short, so I scored a P365X grip module for cheap. It’s perfect now, I can get all 3 fingers on the grip and it feels MUCH better!

So she has a 26 now?
Yep, since she shoots it really well, and I gave it to her to carry instead. The 365 had a little more snap than she liked.

I really like this 365. It’s about as small as you can get for a 9mm. 12+1 in this size package is really awesome!

Good for her.
Nice. Sounds like you found another good carry option

My "Academy" revolver along with my Cousin's... (*He added some "Pachmayr's" because he has GORILLA MITTS, like Roland ... ' ferider ferider ')

BOTH have been beaten like red-headed stepchildren.

BOTH rattle like the doors on a late-80's "Yugo".

BOTH have a sh!+load of cylinder "end shake". (*Mine more than his)

BOTH are wayyy past their expiration dates, and...

BOTH belong in a Museum, or on "display" on a bookshelf.

Despite all of the things you listed, both are awesome.

here's a video of a German Gunsmith who built a .50BMG on a 1911 frame. Single shop, rear breech loaded, no muzzle break, no shoulder stock. This is a video of him firing it. Spoiler: the Motorcycle helmet was a necessity.

Who still has their "service magnum", from the Academy, in the early 90's?... 👂

In the mid 80’s I qualified for a license to carry with my brother’s Speed Six. Nice revolver. His was blued.
At the time, all I had was a Colt 1911 and a Ruger Mk ll. Can’t remember why we had to use revolvers.

I believe that the CCL/CCW thing hit Texas in or around the mid-90's.

When my Dad went to get his, he told me that he had to take an auto. Apparently, back in those days, if you shot a revolver during the course, your license was issued as a "revolver only" license. If you shot an auto, you could carry both.

Weird.

Yes, I remember that. It was weird. Pretty sure I qualified with a Beretta 92 for CCL
My license to carry in the 80’s was for a security company.

Oklahoma was still like that 10-15 years ago. Not sure how it is now.

We’ve got constitutional carry now but I still keep my license for travel

Good call. Idaho ditched their permit requirement years ago, but I keep renewing mine anyway, in part for the reciprocity which at this point is most of the country (excluding places I have no desire to go anyway). It also makes purchases a lot easier.

Put a dot on it and sighted it in for 10 yards, it's going to take me a while to present it from instinct. Took the K-38 along to boost my ego. Then the fun part, cleanup!

All clean and ready for action.
