Very close, it is a Nickle Model 14 Dayton, a configuration made for the Dayton PD in the 60s. Basically a model 15 with a heavy barrel.

Been making a few J Frame holsters lately. Interestingly they've all been our water buffalo overlay variation:

Shown here alongside my own personal one showing how well this leather patinas. Mine is probably 4/5 years old maybe. Has lots of horseback miles on it while we were ranching. Might be a lil older come to think of it.

Put 200 rounds through it today, not horrible, but still has that mushy striker fired trigger feel, though not near as horrid as the first gen M&P .45 I had a while back.
