Gun Picture Thread

I've wanted a 5 inch M&P for a while now. I didn't really want to go with the Competitor due to the look of the slide cut at the front of the gun and the civilian polymer version only comes in FDE and I wanted it to be black.

Ended up finding an LEO version that comes in black with standard height sights. I got it in yesterday and it came in a very nice S&W gun case with 3 mags (they usually come with 2). I decided to swap slides and put my Metal Carry Comp slide on the polymer frame and the 5 inch 2.0 slide on the metal frame. I am really digging this set up for now.

Got me one of them thar Newfangled 9mms my old eyes are tellin' me I need something I can put a dot on.

Fake scopes are not new, but is is much more prevalent today because of modern overseas manufacturing, I remember a lot of stories about fake Unertl fixed power target scopes back it the 80s and 90s, I never saw one, but I had heard about them. With a dozen factories in China making many different brands of optics in one factory its very easier to make a run of a few thousand copies of top tier scopes for the black market. There have always been less than honorable people ripping off regular folks with fakes.
