guns and knives, photos add yours

Ive actually seen those on gunbroker. Arg, is there an email address we can send our requests too? Maybe we can get Bill Rugers personal...

Maybe try a spirit medium. Otherwise, I think you're out o' luck.

Since Ol' Bill passed on, Ruger has been doing some exciting and unexpected things. If there is a market out there now for it (and the shooting environment has CERTAINLY changed since the .22LR SP-101 was last tried), I would expect to see Ruger bring it back. At least a version of it.

I mean, Ruger does awesome stuff with the .22. High class semi auto pistols, and the most popular .22 rifle on earth to aim a couple... Why not more .22 revolvers?

Unfortunately, Ruger would most likely try to pimp their LCR in .22 LR first. Like JV3 said, you see the .22 SP101s on gunbroker from time to time, but they usually fetch a premium and they’re only 6 shot. .22 wheel guns should be a min of 8 shot these days IMO. Offer it in 4 and 6” barrels with adjustable sights and they will fly off the shelves.

There is a place on the Ruger website where you can email one of the big whigs and it says he reads every one of them. Now whether that’s true or not….but I emailed him anyway on this subject a while back. Ammo prices are high, Ruger, veteran shooters are starting to remember how much fun shooting .22s is. Get on board!

HA! right after my last post I went straight to Rugers website and found that. Left a message :)

This thread has me Jonesing for an AK. But an SPR AR build won't go away!

Hoopster, loving the Saiga conversion. I've considered that route. Did you do the conversion yourself?

Shotty, every time I see that DD rear sight I want one for my KISS carbine.

a few from my collection...the shotguns i never seem to take pictures of - too utilitarian for me and not enough work of art feel to fondle them...anyway, i lost them all in a recent boating accident. mr. obama, please move along to the next house, no guns in this house to confiscate :o

OFF TOPIC - Sorry

How are all your ESEE handles black?
They are breathtaking...

Once I have some cash I'll be putting on a midlength forend, lo-pro gasblock and Magpul flipups so the DD sight will be free.....:D

Well if it's free I'll definitely take it. :D Hey man, it's in writing, no backing out now! My primary AR is a midlength, then my KISS build is carbine length. I never knew how much real estate I was losing going with carbine length. Midlength sure is nice.

thanks. i used black sharpie on some and black rit fabric dye on the others. i forgot which ones now.

both my ar's pictured above are carbine length. just chop down the front sight and get a free float rail. 13.8" of rail space is a ton of real estate! i only went that route so i can rest it anywhere without touching the barrel.

Think its a 10 Jake. Love that light. Pains me to have it tied to a gun and not free for EDC.

Mine's a 10 as well it is fantastic. Makes my SF 6PL look like a cheap mag lite.

How are you going to put a mid length handguard on a carbine? Or maybe i misunderstand what you're saying.

I'm probably ordering a Magpul MBUS rear sight this week so my DD rear sight might go up for sale.. havent decided yet.

I'm going to put a free float Troy 13" rail on with a lowpro gasblock. The rail will cover the gasblock and give me a much longer sight radius with my irons.

When I'm done, it'll look alot like this:
