Guns & Hinderers

Awesome! I've spent an inappropriate amount of time drooling over Wilson Combats. Do you by chance carry it? I love the full sized 1911 but I'm not sure how well it woul conceal.

I do carry it from time to time during the winter. Mostly this is my favorite range pistol and nightstand "protector"! It conceals just fine if I'm wearing a vest or a blazer. Don't think twice if you are really thinking about purchasing your first Wilson. You won't even question the amount of money you've spent once it's in your hands! Love at first rack.

Thanks! Sadly Wilson Combat ranks up there with a submariner as more of a long term upgrade rather than shorter. I love the 1911 platform, but I've been wavering lately about using something more modern. Every time I see something as gorgeous as that I remember how much I love them.

I like old school too. Oh and only bad guys wear black hats ;)

Thanks! That's one of the few pictures I've ever taken that I like. Actually my crappy camera skills that lead to grainy pictures coupled with the subject matter and filter all work well together for once. I just need a killer lever action like that one AZ2AK has a few pages back leaned up against the pool table and all the classic cliche pieces would be intact.

Ditto, those are a couple of cool pics! Juice, I dig the birdhead grip, a revolver like that has been on my want list for a while now. NJ, crappy camera or not, that pic really works for composition and appearance - almost like a screen cap from a John Wayne movie ;)

Great Pic indeed:thumbup: Content as well as composition, nothing says, "Do you really wanna mess?" like a Big ol' revolver.
As for the 55gal. mug for the Evan Williams - Hey, Big drinks for Big Boys BooYah! Nj

Lol! What's the Harley doing in your house??

Those are some sweet lever actions Joe!! Great rifles indeed!! That Bowie knife is ginormous!! Wow!!

^ gotta ride it somewhere! Sure as hell can't do it in 3 FT of snow. A quick spin around the kitchen is better than nothing. Haha!

And yes my Harley is in the house.

Of course it is.... where else would a discerning Man keep his Harley when it's 9* out and snow on the ground? The Garage? I think not.
Not like it's in the - Bedroom all snuggy in a blanket..... Hmmmmmm.
Anywho, I like the direction these posts are going - Paying Homage to the "Older the Better" like many things ;)

That is where it resides in the winter months, actually it is in a large heated sunroom I built a fews years back. Days like today it is 13 degrees outside, but with all the glass it is around 70, I spent some time there today getting some needed sun therapy. The Bowie is a Randall Smithsonian, took a half a cow to make the leather sheath for it.

I am transfixed peering at the Beautiful furniture on those lever actions - simply gorgeous, the patina that only years and care can imbue on Hard wood (Walnut/Maple and Oak)

I figured it was an off room :) Nice Harley!

I bet!! That thing is badass!!! That's probably the knife the Vikings carried to supplement their sword :D
