Guns & Hinderers

Pro Gun guy here..no ball busting from me. As for optics maybe look into the Trijicon RMR because it offers a lot of future flexibility. Can use w/ the AR or many pistols and can co-witness atop other optics on the rifle platform(s) at a later date.

thanks N2K, my friend...I knew I could count on one of my buddies on here. GREAT idea man, I love Trijicons products.

Luck, I didn't know RHK was having a clearance sale, wow that's great!

Kidding aside, you have yourself a piece of history with that Winchester 94, probably the most recognizable sporting rifle in America.

I'm sort of partial to vintage 94's

FO, have you had that textured Ti scale? Or have I just forgotten.... I've got the memory of a gold fish sometimes

Nice looking rifles gentlemen!!

Yep had it for awhile, had to buy another Hinderer just for the Textured Ti, oh what we do for our hobby! I think N2K has had his for awhile, his planned the seed.

I've been spending most of my free time online lately research guns and tips for improving my pistol shooting. It's sort of hurt my time around here, but it's a good cause. Seeing some of these glocks around here has me wanting to try one. I'm still looking for my "go to" gun and feel like I must give one a go if so many of the herd trust them.

Tough to beat a Glock. Once you get acclimated to them, put 2,000+ rounds through them in a long weekend, train with one, etc., you end up really appreciating their function and reliability. I know a Glock 19 is my go to choice and I have a variety to choose from. I believe it is Rob's go to choice as well for similar reasons. Rick shoots GLocks as well but I think the M&P is his preferred platform currently although he seems to bounce around. Mike shoots Glocks as well in a variety of calibers IIRC.

^ I agree with Rick about the M&P. I absolutely love mine. It pretty much cured me of my desire to own anything else.

Since I'm home with a lame wing, I thought I'd post a pic of my lone Hinderer with my lone suppressor. (I have 2 host guns though.);)

Bowman, I'm going to call you Dark Winged Duck.... Haha! ;)

Badass glock with the suppressor!!! G26 or G27???

I call it a 26.5. It's a 27, with a 9mm conversion. I've got a 17rtf, that was my original host gun, but converting the 27 will only run ya $120 plus a magazine, so I thought, What the heck?! Now 2 host guns. One of these day's I'll invest in a .45acp suppressor. Here's the 17 with a coffee table full of awesome!

Glocks are worth a try...by that I mean go try the fit in your hand...and if possible borrow or rent one to shoot. Then do as many of us have and buy one. Then more will likely follow. I strongly suggest looking at the 17/19 as a good place to start.

Thanks! I've actually been looking at the glock 19. I've sort of been lusting after a couple of H&Ks since they are actually ambidextrous out of the box, but I'm somewhat hesitant of the price. If they really are better guns, it's not a huge deal, but for that price I could have a pretty decently customize glock 19 which is definitely appealing too.
