Guns & Hinderers

Yep, lotta goodness in that pic. Love the rifle case, I have one of those.

Thanks Shane! I love that rifle case... Very versatile and looks badass doing it

Yep, lots of room for stuff too. I strap an AR in one side, the KSG in the other, and have room for plenty of mags in the pouches. Not to mention a pistol or four…

Looking at your pic inspires me to add a patch and perhaps some SF molle clips..

And that's the truth Shane.... You can shove all sorts of goodies in there! So much in fact, you're like I had this in here too..? haha!

Yes definitely go with a patch! I was thinking the same thing about RHK molle clip as well... Nice little touch :D

Do you have patches already? If not I can route you to a site that has many many good one's. You might already know about it...

Do I have patches? I don't need no stinking patches!! Lol, yeah, I have a few - these are just the ones that would fit on this small (6' x 1.5') space. I have BOXES more.. :D

Cool mugs Shane! So you need that website?? ;)

I figured you would have some extravagant collection of patches.. And I was right! Haha! Cool setup bud! Is that in your office?

My office at home, yeah. I don't have an office, per se, at work any more - rather an ops floor that I run..

I don't really want an office at work because that will mean, well, that I work in an office and not in operations ;)

Nice stuff Shane.

I'm pretty certain Rick has a nice wall of patches too (as seen in video interviews and such).

Yeah, I seem to remember an impressive collection of patches on the wall in the ME interview. I meant to send them a couple of patches when I sent my wharnie in for bronzing, can;t remember if I did or not..

Since I haven't been shooting in the last week or so (I somehow tweaked my rotator cuff and haven't wanted to push it), I've been spending too much time browsing pictures and reading articles about them. I'm curious- what do y'all think about the 1911 platform? I know some love it and some seem to hate it. I'm not really looking to compare them to anything like my glock- totally different animals, but I really enjoy shooting mine and I find it accurate and haven't had and real reliability issues. I'm curious what y'all think of them and if you'd trust carrying one. A little out there of a topic I suppose, but I was looking at Wilson's and lusting.

I carry a Kimber Ultra CDP. Once broken in mine has functioned flawlessly. I can't remember a FTF or FTE. Since the 1911 was designed for ball ammo, some don't handle hollow points that great. Mine eats them all up but I carry Golden Saber only because it's profile is closest to ball ammo I've found.

Love the 1911. Was on active duty when the "transition" 1911 - Beretta was going on. Still love Kimbers (used to carry an Ultra CDP II)
just got too heavy for me.
I would say along with my Glocks, my 1911's just go "bang" when you pull the trigger. Other than a wheel gun, as dependable as you can get IMO. Fun to shoot too.

Most of my handguns are revolvers. Just don't have any that are comfortable to carry. My smallest is my 696-1 but doesn't carry as compact as the Ultra CDP II. I want to get a small .357 at some point.

Sweet Kimber Shane!!! She's a real beauty!! When going to shoot it?

That's great pic too! Love your WF with the blue/black frag
