Gunstocks, who likes them?

They ended up with more yellow highlights than usual for smooth ivory bone. Haven't seen a buckthorn, but it must have a little yellow....

Huh. My charlow with ivory bone has quite a good bit of yellow. Now I'm interested to see the "buckthorn"

"A rose by any other name, is still a rose." GEC seems to change over the names of a number of their handle materieals. Doesn't make it any less pretty. That is sure is a good looking knife. Planning to get one in Buckthorn/Ivory bone.

The sea glass acrylic on the upcoming Northfield 22's looks really nice. I think I'd like to get one as a gift for my dad.

Surprisingly that is the one I'm drawn to as well. Their acrylics always look so much better in person too & that one looks pretty fantastic even in pictures. :)

You know; it's been about a year and I thought I had my habit under control. Now I'm shopping for a Gunstock.

This is Old & In the Way's picture of his Queen Gun Stock...

I have one just like it. It's a sweeet knife. I sent it back to the factory to have them put an edge on the D2 blade. They did a nice
job with it.

Only one I own. A Case 6215SS that came with a model truck set...has 1/400 etched on the bolster.

Own some Schrade Gunstock Trappers but I think they aren't a true gunstock pattern.

I'd like to see a Gunstock pattern with a clip and maybe a coping blade. Something different other than a pen blade.

I JUST HAVE TO SAY, I do like these, but best of all I like them on my guns where they truly perform their duty, a service, rather than just looking different than say....a jackknife.

Just a couple from my "accumulation".
