Hamon Polishing... How do you know you don't have anymore activity or whispy stuff

I have used both, windex and a baking soda solution, I agree with Salem Straub. Just easy and I am not worried about getting rid of the oxides. I just need to neutralize the acid.

That turned out really good. Funny thing about hamons they love horrible photography. It seems when you setup for a nice shot as you have done its more difficult to get a good shot of the hamon, ya hold it al whonky with weird light and what not and the hamon comes out ok in the photo. Seems why guys have nice shots of the knife but a crummy (technically speaking) shot of the hamon.
 
I would agree with the hard photography.
