Any one know what the difference in blade and box markings mean?
AP vs BP on the boxes, and 068V on the blade.
The AP and BP are date codes, the number on the blade is a collectors club number.
Nah, it doesn't really hold any more value than the other in the same condition. It just means that whoever gets all the 68V marked knives didn't want that. Thanks, I was gonna use one and give one away. Wondering now if I should put the 068V back?

Mine should have been here yesterday but the USPS dropped the ball.
The same thing happened to me. I was a little disappointed when I reached in the mail box, but it'll make tomorrow even better.

Yeah, and 068V could just be a collector membership held by a retailer who just sells them off.
Only reason I'd see them catching more is if you coincidentally find one that is a birthday, or lucky number or something... otherwise, more often than not, many prefer to not have the distracting number on the blade.
Thanks for the heads up. Can't have to many d-flysNational Knives showing 30+ in stock.
