Although very recent my first ever Charlie Campagna SFO came to me from Charie himself in a signed tube that made it even more special to me. Happy Birthday Charlie.
I’m not much of a storyteller but it is good to know that one of my treasures resides waynorth. Good trade Charlie, good trade. Happy Birthday my friend.
The first gift, the second gift and the one which never leaves my pocket .
All of them make me think about one of the few important men I met in my small life .
Have a Happy and Blessed Birthday, “ Old-E-Won”!!! I joined this forum years ago just to keep up with his sfos! I began this slippery slope buying Premier knives from Clarence Risner... looking forward to many more years!
Currently at work in the clinic, but I do want to wish Charlie a happy birthday, with many more to come! I will post later a most special barlow and the many other knives Charlie has introduced into my collection!
Back in late 2012 Charlie started the "What makes a good Traditional Barlow" thread.... Now I have learned over the years that our Friend does like to keep quiet about what he and Bill have "in the works" So when Charlie posted a pic of the TC bolster I call him and told him that whatever he was up to I wanted one of everything he had made. I had learned by then to pay attention to the direction our Friend was heading, little did I know (or Charlie) for that matter how high the TC Barlow's would soar, and soar they did! Man what a slippery slope these have been!
So for Charlie's Birthday I arranged them in order from the 1st to the last in the display case to share with all his Friends!
I know Charlie knows something is up because I must have called him at least 8 times in the last week, buggin him about this knife or that...
Starting at the bottom left with the 1st release in 2012 thru all the knives in 2015 in the case.
