Happy hour. What are you Fiddlebacks listening to?

 Ha. You're alright Viral. I've been to more than a few Blues Travelers shows in my time. Nothing wrong with them at all!

I can get into ska music as well. As you can tell from my previous post (Morphine), I'm not opposed to a brass section in my tunes.

I really wish I could have went to a Blues Traveler back when John Popper had his pipes and could still jam. But those days are long gone. Oh here's one for ya. It's a good jam. might want to crank it up to 7 or so. Let it vibrate those old bones of you gents. haha

Oh man, Duder. You just had to go and open the McCartney can of worms. Outstanding choices! Sticking with this theme, here is the video from the Beatles last performance as a band, the famed Apple Studios rooftop concert in January of '69. (The link is below, sorry, but I can't get it to embed) It's lengthy, but if you've never seen this amazing footage, it's worth the time. Crack a beer and enjoy. May I recommend paying particular attention starting at 7:20 in the video, which beings the song "I've got a feeling". Outstanding. Paul always did rock this song.

That really is one of their best performances. I've always liked "Don't let me down" from that set.

Just keeping it real huh? I likey. So glad Les Claypool never got signed by Metallica.

Someone recently was talking about bands that sound good on an album, but suck in live concerts. For some reason I was thinking about this just now. I've seen the Lemonheads twice in concert, and they optimize this statement. Total studio musicians. The only one with talent was Juliana Hatfield their old bassist. I got a good laugh from this old video. She's the one taking pictures and not actually playing the bass in the video.

Anyway, here's one for you late 80's/early 90's alt rock fans. Be careful, it's catchy.

Though I haven't watched pro wrestling since junior high in the early 90s, I was saddened to hear of my boyhood fav the Ultimate Warrior passing away today. In his honor, and reminiscing of my youth, I'm hearing the Warrior's entrance song

Yeah a buddy of mine posted about it on Facebook (as otherwise I would not have known as I live under a rock when it comes to current events as my gf likes to say) and I was reading up on it. He was the man.
