Happy hour. What are you Fiddlebacks listening to?

My brothers and I were on our way to the Michigan UP and my brother put this on. What a great song to drive to it is an old Neil Young song redone by Dave Mathews and Warren Hayes. It has replaced Maggot Brain by the Funkadelic's as my favorite song to listen to at the end of a long day. Check out the skyline of NYC . . . Awesome!

Nice song.

Maggot Brain!? That one hits home for me. I love that tune. Eddie Hazel was awesome on the guitar.

I've always loved this one.

Time to revive this thread for sure. Happy Monday to everyone! How about a little Jethro.

Ian Anderson can definitely play the flute, and as you'll see in the video, he's pretty good at standing on one foot as well.

I didn't see a video, but thank you for trying to bring the sanity and good times back to this forum.:cool:

Hey duder. The video is showing on my computer. I just deleted it, and tried to upload it again.........Is it there now?

Thanks buddy!

I know I'm the odd man out with my musical style, but here's what I've been listening to tonight while unfortunately working.

Here's some mood lifting music for you guys.

Thurin, those first two tunes made me think of this piece. If you haven't seen this movie and you like sci-fi, I highly recommend it. It has a great soundtrack btw.

LOL Duder. I haven't posted much in here as my tastes are currently different than most of what I've been seeing, but I have posted some. :)

I'll have to check that one out. That track sounds good and I'm always in the mood for a good sci-fi flick.

Nice Thurin! Nice relaxing music to sooth the Forum unrest of the past week.

It's also been a hectic morning at work, so it's appreciated from that end as well!

Duder, you must be an enormous movie buff!

Duder, you must be an enormous movie buff!

My father is a movie buff and he raised three sons that are movie buffs. If we aren't bonding by the bbq smoking cigars, or golfing, we're bonding by watching spaghetti westerns or quoting and critiquing classic movies. It's just something we've always done. I like it. Every time I hear the the man with no name or The Godfather theme songs, I instantly think of my father and brothers.

Ha, love the man with no name movies. "There are two kinds of people in the world my friend. Those with a rope around their neck and the people who cut them down". (May not be a direct quote, but its what I remembered off the top of my head)!

Man, what is this thread doing on page 2. Happy Saturday everyone.

Don't care what you might think of these guys, they were WAY ahead of their time. Think of what was going on in 1983, especially in music. And then you have this:

Absolutely Duder. I have a sister that's a few years older than me, and she was a HUGE Depeche Mode fan back in the day.

Ha. Next we need some Adam Ant, and we'll get this 80's thing started right. :D

Ever heard of these two? They're trippy, but have an 80's flavor. Well at least this song does.
