Every time I hear this song, I think the only thing missing is a mention of Fiddlebacks.

I was 13 y.o. through most of 1970. These guys changed the world through their art, and most of their live performances had political motivated introductions. Jimmy, Janice, John, Bob, Graham, Neal and a host of others. Many of which are no longer with us.

One of the icons in the Quick Reply box looks like a piece of film tape (it's the icon to the left of the quote cloud icon). Click on that and paste the video address you want to post in the provided space that pops up.

When my father was 13, he listened to the radio about the expansion of the Nazi regime accross Europe. When I was 13, we watched the Vietnam war with headcount statistics and Kent state on the 6 o'clock news. Now that my grandson is 13, there are YouTube videos of U.S. Journalists being beheaded by ISIS, and the cold war has heated up in the Ukraine such that the world feels compelled to respond. I have to ask myself, what has really changed?

The only answer I can come up with is that globally nothing has changed, with the exception of technology.
