Happy hour. What are you Fiddlebacks listening to?

I love all types of music. Grew up on punk and new wave. Learned to appreciate good Country from my wife. Went through a hair metal period. You name it, it's probably in my iTunes.

I'm on the computer all day long writing code, and use music to keep me focused, so I use stuff that doesn't distract me, mainly what might be classified as "Post Rock". Explosions in the Sky, God is an Astronaut, This Will Destroy You, Hammock, Caspian, El Ten Eleven, Mogwai, Mono, etc. One of my favorites is "Message to Bears" which has a nice bushcrafty feel to it to me. I leave you with a sample:

That was a nice one Thurin. I likey. Interesting video as well. It does have a bushcrafty feel.

Sounds lame but today I decided to listen to my original stuff. I go back and listen to it once every month or 2 recorded some stuff this year so I took a listen.
Yesterday was Chris Cornell's solo live acoustic album. Kicks ass.
 
My music taste has to be considered fairly extreme. It starts with a heavy dose of country and old country. Then it can detour through classic rock, folk, bluegrass and end at metal. I'm a hard core middle aged metal head.

It's Fiddleback Friday. I'm almost to the end of my work day. I am fired up and can't wait to get out of here. No plans tonight but kicking back with two fingers of my favorite Bourbon and then into the woods tomorrow deer hunting.

Ahh yes. I love me some Sepultura. The early years that is: Arise, Beneath the Remains, even some Bestial Devastation!

Nice Joe!! Yes! :thumbup: I'm much bigger fan of the old school Sepultura as well but I just happened to have that particular song on when I posted.

Thurin, I can dig that song, I like the sort of consistent melodic guitar with the violin combo.
