Nice Dave. I'm sitting here this morning drinking coffee, checking the forum activity, and I pulled up this Youtube. When the music came on, my 6 year old son came over and started watching with me. His exact words: "That sounds pretty nice, Dad. He's much better than you!"

Good Stuff gtr60! I like all sorts of music, but this is the stuff I listen to while writing code all day long and at sleepy time. If you haven't heard it yet, check out The American Dollar's Music for Focus and Creativity. 3 hours worth.

I have playlists in spotify with tons of stuff that just goes non-stop while working. I don't have to think about the music (no words to get in the way), but it blocks out everything else going on and really helps me focus and it's interesting enough if I want to pay attention.

That's a great playlist! I listen to most of those artists, and will certainly be checking out the ones I haven't heard of tonight. Thanks for listing them, I'm always looking for new music. I can really only think of two to add, Yndi Halda, and If These Trees Could Talk. Check them out.

My music tastes are kind of all over the place also, but post-rock and other instrumental music is close to the top for me.

I'm really liking the music for focus and creativity too. This should help me pass the next 3 hours at work. Thanks for suggesting it to me.

Yeah, many people (including myself) feel he's the greatest songwriter that has ever walked the planet (even above Dylan). Definitely worth discovering further! I'd recommend the album "Rear View", for starters. Recorded on the last night of a string of 30-straight one night stands.
