Happy hour. What are you Fiddlebacks listening to?

Hey MajorD,
Your not alone in that boat, I think learning Metal gave me a appreciation for Bluegrass because it was not just chords like in main stream country at the time. Can't go wrong with Earl Scruggs and Ricky Skaggs!

Outstanding!!!

My oldest daughter is getting married in May. Her and I decided (more like "I" did :)) on our song tonight for our father/daughter dance.

Congrats Dave! That's awesome!

Though I pray that my daughter finds a special person that let's her love light shine, I don't know how I'll handle the day that I give her away.

Thanks Johnny and Josiah.

I always felt the same way and I've shared the same fear about "the day" but she has found a good, hard working young man. He's good to my daughter and very respectful. He's very "old school" for a young man today. He and I had a nice talk last year during a round of golf and that is when he asked me if he could marry my daughter. That went a long way with me. A lot of kids today don't think that way.

That's awesome man. You're blessed. We can raise our daughters the best we can, and attempt to mold them(for the most part) into the people we want them to be, but no one can control who they fall for. When sparks fly there's really nothing you can do to prevent them from igniting. It truly is a beautiful, terrible, zesty enterprise. We can only hope they fall for someone with a good head on their shoulders that will treat them with love and respect. It sounds like she found that. I'm happy for you brother. Your winning man! Ok, that's as sappy as Duder's gonna get.

Guys, those are two of my absolute favorites. Very different sounding than what the more well known songs are.

Probably my favorite from Physical Graffitti (at least right now) is (I love live versions since I was only 14 when JB died and they broke up):

Lol Dave! I've haven't gotten into the hair band stuff yet. For some reason I absolutely love Neil Young and Dylan so I'm kind of out of the loop with you older fellas here (even though it should be the other way around!)
