Sorry to dim the lights in this thread but...

All was going great this week and boom! I get the phone call. Well, I lost a loved one today. She struggled with MS for a long time and was in a lot of pain, but all that's over for her now, thank God.

Thanks for your kind words. I feel the same when I see Velosa updated the "Happy hour music" thread.

It's been a sad day, but the ray of sunshine in all this darkness is that she's not in pain anymore. For that I'm thankful.

Thanks for all your thoughts, prayers and smoke guys. You Fiddlebacks really are top shelf.

Been a rough couple weeks/month for our FB family. I got called to the hospital today on account of a suicide attempt by the daughter of a church member. She's going to survive, but any real healing is a long way off. Sorry no link to share, but I was working the blues with The Reverend Gary Davis on the way home.

Hi everyone. A rainy Monday morning here in Mississippi. An absolute deluge to be exact. Plenty of water for the sharks to swim in today! Reminds me of another Townes Van Zandt song.
