Happy Thanksgiving! w/ a Turkey Challenge

We have our first winner! Twiztids4 just sent me this video of him using his Gladius to carve his turkey. Great job Ken!

The contest is not yet over, the next person to post a video carving a turkey with any 10"+ inch Busse will also win!

I’m about to pull out my Hognose and chop up what’s left for the last credit! The first video was rushed due to day drinking and trying to get that credit sorry gentlemen lol. Happy Thanksgiving!
I'd love to see that, but I think it's only fair to make it one entry per person just so that others can win as well.

I don't think I'll be able to play to win, but our bird just came out and it look beautiful!!

That is a great video! The DTBM is 10" so it would qualify; however, like you said it's not a turkey. That being said, if nobody else posts a video of carving a turkey with a Busse then you will win the second t-shirt anyways! It's great to see the SAR-8 LE doing some work. Also, your duck looks perfectly cooked, great job.

Sounds fair to me! This is the best duck I have done to date. I smoked it for 3.5 hours with some apple wood chuncks ( from an old apple tree I took down in my yard) and used an apple chutney sauce to glaze it. It was phenominal. Happy thanksgiving all.

No vid, and I don't want to try and top Chingon's duck anyway, but I did get the BME in on the action. Primarily carving off the leftovers and breaking down the carcass for stock:

Cheers all!

Not an entry but here is turkey breast I carved out at Christmas 2015 with my then “new to me” FBM LE #51.

Family and friends all know I’m a knife nut so when there is a turkey dinner I am “expected” to have a large knife for carvin’.

I really appreciate how everyone likes to carve their bird their own way, but here is the basic method that I use that tends to make for a nice presentation (the method does of course work with Busse knives).

Congrat's All and as I expected, I wouldn't have a chance to post anything until late, but just so you think I was bluffing about the Gladius....

...here are some pictures (have no idea how to post video, so just took a few stills before I got the "you're doing a terrible job" comment from the Home Commander, just like Cobalt did in his video. I feel your pain brother.;))
