Happy Thanksgiving! w/ a Turkey Challenge

Hahahaha holy smokes that's crazy! You're being so violent. Hahaha.

I had to work today but I'll post my video anyway when the turkey is done.

Ok, so family was not so happy with me cuz I had a lot of scotch before that in fact I am typing this barely, cuz I still have a lot of scotch in me. But I severed a soda bottle with the knife and they were all impressed or scared not sure which. Good night.

I have carved two Turkeys with a Chophouse Thick cut. It has seen the most kitchen use of all my Busse’s and Kin. None this year though:thumbsup::D

wow what a night. We started drinking scotch before dinner. That was the first problem. Then off camera I continued to hack on the turkey bones and chipped the wife's nice china plate that holds the Turkey parts on the table. She was not happy. I also nicked the granite counter top once, missing the chopping block. Luckily no damage to the counter as it was a glancing blow and at about 15% power. Then I severed the Soda bottle 1/3 the way down from the top with one clean swing without disturbing the contents(coke zero), impressing everyone who saw it.

Well I'm back from our travels. Our turkey was rather weak this year. It was only a 12 lb'er I'm tempted to get a big one since my family gobbled it up in one sitting. And yes I have an unused AK47 thats just Chomping at the bit to see some use lol. I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving.

Well we had 14 for dinner and out turkey was 23lbs. We typically look for a 20+ pounder.

Doesn't look so big in the pic below but it is.
