The end is in sight finally
This is a handy but expensive foredom handpiece. It is a clasp type and has a 90 degree head. It cleans up those hard to reach places.
Im rounding off the scales and thinning them to only about .220" thick. Its a boot knife so it needs to be thin and light.
hogging out the middle of the spacer so the outside edges will have no gaposis.
clamped and pinned. I used super glue on the back of the scales. It is the oderless medium thick stuff and dries slow enough to assemble everything. I roughed up the pins and wicked in the superglue by sliding them in and out a couple times. Sorry for the crappy pic but its the only one I took, the glue was drying so I couldnt fuss around with pictures.
The bolts are the leather store variety. They are .125" dia. and have a threaded shank and a little design on the heads.
