Has Anyone else had problems with "Blade Bandits" or Charles Vickery out of Tampa Fl.

I have nothing to add to this, and actually have no idea how I ended up here (other than I couldn't sleep and have been up since 3AM...), but I see an interesting trend with a lot of these sour deals and want to say something.

It seems like you folks who are getting scammed are asking for it in my opinion.

You are doing business with drop-shippers and under-cutters. These forums are slam full of reputable dealers who PAY MONEY to be recognized as such. This means they put their reputations on the line, out there for everyone to see. Their prices may not always be the absolute rock-bottom, but you are pretty much guaranteed to get a good deal and very good customer service. Plus, they actually STOCK items they advertise! Sheesh!

I've been a member here since forever and have never, not once been taken in any deal. I don't use PayPal (or Facebook for that matter) and I only deal with folks who I know are solid businesses. It's not hard.

I really wish that I had viewed this thread prior to placing an order with Blade Bandits. I have been having the same issues as others here in the thread. I ordered a blade that their website indicated was in stock... this was 2 months ago. I had received an email stating that my address was wrong and the product was returned to them. They sent no tracking number or proof of any claims. I reviewed my original order with them and found that my address was correct. Like others here I was promised that they would follow up with me and did not. I have had enough of the bs and have put in for a refund. We will see if they can handle that in a professional manner. I will let you all know the outcome.

Call your bank and file a charge back.

Thanks for the suggestion RevDevil. I have done just that. I think that the huge number of people experiencing the same run arounds paints a pretty broad picture of who these people are and how they operate. Hopefully with this thread we have saved some folks from suffering the same fate.

Hope you get your cash back Steve. Please let us know how the avenue through the bank turns out. I had to do that once with another "stellar" vendor. Oddly enough the fraud department which handled my case said that they had several other customers that had issues with the same vendor.

Hi!

My experience via their now closed ebay account - no item, no refund, many excuses then no response at all. Being overseas doesn't help getting anything back the easy way either.

Regards,
Alex

So I contacted my bank... had to cancel that card and BB&T was good enough to refund the money. I was scared there for a moment... thought I was going to be out $500 for a halo. One of these days maybe these fools will piss of the wrong person.

LET me tell you about blade bandits they are nothing but liars and thiefs i sent 81 knives to them when they where on ebay. They say we buy knife collections no mater how big are small and they do and never pay you. I did get them kicked off ebay they will never sell there again. I am sorry for all that has bought from them you will never recive your money are knife anyone needing there phonr nuimber there real names and address let me know i have it all something one day will bad happen i am afraid you do not lie and steal like they do they will do this to the wrong person one day.My name is Randy Parker if i can help anyone let me know .

Thanks for sharing your experience Randy. It will help anyone that searches their track record.

Thanks to this forum, I've avoided a similar bad experience. Just thought I'd add these links while I'm here:

I'm not sure if it counts as ironic that he also ran a credit consolidation scam or not, given the sheer number of creditors he must have racked up in his time. You gotta give the guy this, when one scheme falls apart, he just moves on to a new one.

Well.....I just surfed around looking and it appears as if BladeBandits is no more.....
Their Facebook page seems to have disappeared, as has their sales website.

Anyone have any additional information?

We had/have? a scamming carpet cleaning outfit in Columbus, Ohio that changed its name every year or so. When the consumer complaints started to pile up, the name changed - over and over and over.

bladebandits.com is down, but not gone. They are still running as krknives.com and a brand new site tactical-cutlery.com

It appears that there may be a relationship here to our old arch nemesis Andrew Kunz. I would do business at your own peril/loss with either of these sites:

Yeah, they're crooked. And so is their alter ego on eBay, tacticalcutlery or tacticalycutlery. They ripped me off, but eBay resolved in my favor. But regardless, they ripped off the wrong guy. Just because they're in another state, it doesn't mean ripping someone off isn't a crime. It means it's a federal crime. I'm forwarding my case, along with everything else I find out about these guys to the USPS and the FL Attorney General for starters. BTW, I know you guys visit this forum, probably to do as much spin control as you can, but don't worry, your thieving ways will catch up to you eventually. I hate thieves.

Wow! I hope this guy gets caught and fined a crap ton of money! This guy is a no life scum bag who deserves to go to jail and learn his lesson!
