Has Anyone else had problems with "Blade Bandits" or Charles Vickery out of Tampa Fl.

Why does the Blade Bandits Facebook page have an "Andrew Kunz" asking people to like "like my page Blade Bandits."

I don't usually get involved in things like this, but you're stealing from me. You're taking my images and using them to sell products. Undercut me if you want- that's your business, but don't do it using my images.

I was doing a google search about 2 weeks looking for a Spyderco Southard. Anyway, he (Andrew) had 2 in stock. I purchased them and they arrived in a matter of days. Since then I bought a Techno and Tuff. No problems here. I've dealt with all of the major companies and he is as good as any. We've talked by phone several times and done the email thing as well, again no problem. Maybe give Blade Bandits a second chance. I plan to shop around and give Andrew a chance to do a comparable deal. Anyway everyone have a Merry Christmas and a great New Year!!
 
I personally have had very good results in my dealings with this company Blade Bandits. I have ordered two knives from them in the past 6 months not had any problems. Delivery from Tampa to Los Angels was quick. I also have never had problems with communications.
I went with Blade Bandits because there prices were great compared to everyone else . I saved over 75 dollars on an Arizona Buck 110 conversion for example. Their prices blew every one else away. I can only speak from my experiences with them but I have recommended them to many of my friends.
I in no way am affiliated with Blade Bandits other then being a satisfied customer.
A forum will never allow us to fully understand peoples complete motivation for negativity .

This scenario is all too familiar with the notorious Andrew Kunz. Once one business gets too much attention from disgruntled buyers or the law, he goes by another name, another company. Meanwhile leaving a wake of money, refunds and product owed. Even had the audacity to post on facebook that noone was getting their money back.

What is posted here about BladeBandits sounds all too Familiar....
These threads about Mr. Kunz are just from here at BFC, imagine how many more there must be that are unknown.
The problem is that most people walk away...a factor he counts upon. The best thing that can be done is chargebacks, paypal disputes, contacting the postal inspectors and filing reports with law enforcement.

I can't find any official business entity when searching for Blade Bandits, LLC on www.sunbiz.org
Do they actually have a business by that name? Because I can't find it.
 
I KNEW something was off when I read "VP of sales Andrew" & they were from Tampa.Just couldn't put it together right away!
I ot my Caly 3.5 ZDP from them not too long ago in a padded envelope:rolleyes:.The box was smashed but the knife was okay.I feel "dirty" supporting that scumbag:mad:
I'm glad I used PP & not a CC.
 
I was searching (in internet) looking for a ZT 0550. Andrew at bladebandits had 8 in stock (if I remember well, on the first 1-2 days of November 2012). His prices were great compared to everyone else. I had tried bladebandits for the first time. I purchased one ZT 0550 and it arrived (overseas) in 3 weeks (more than the normal time, compared with other cases) but the item was fine and that is what (and everybody, I believe) want. Also: no problems with communications and I am, at the end of the day, a satisfied customer.

I thought about calling the Tampa P.D. ; isnt this fraud by wire? doesnt seem like an isolated case,either.there is more people who didnt get their knife than did,so why arent we getting refunds? If you go to Ripoffreport.com, theres about a dozen complaints on him there,as well.found it through googling this anus...
 
I just saw there posting on FB that they have decided to sell off some of their one off custom knives I also saw on ther website that they want to do consignment selling of your knives. I know I am probably out my $270, but damn I wish there was a way to put a stop to them before someone buys those customs at $1k+ or send in their knives for him to sell.

I sent Charles Vickery a message too, and seems he & Andrew are friends & partners in crime. No response as expected.
 
Today, I filed an offical complaint with FBI internet Crime division, I was told that everyone who has lost $ or knives from Bladebandits.com should do the same. The more complaints... the quicker they act. So I have done all I can do Please do the same

Anyone else get straight with these guys? Did everyone get there $ back on CC's? All I got was a e-mail on 11/16 out of clear blue stating

" Your in luck! These knives are hard to come by. Your order # 1550 will ship Monday morning"

He know this was to be a Christmas gift, yet he has no heart & is a theif in my book.

Needless to say No knife ..

I got my money back via the dispute with the credit card company...

I hope this guy had enough disputes against him that whoever is processing his cards has told him to pack sand.
 
This guys listed adress is relatively near me and im pretty sure its just a small apartment
