Has anyone tried the Wave and NOT liked it?

As my ol' Grandpa used to say.....The more doo dads and gee gaws on somthin....the more somthin can go wrong at the time you need it most.

The wave, little more than a metal nipple, is hardly a complicated doo dad.

The only problem that I see is that it could become somehow hung on the pants, or in the most dire situation, limit the stab depth.
