Has Busse destroyed your interest in other fixed blades?

It has certainly stopped me from researching other knife makers. I am fairly inexperienced however. I bought two from TOPS (TFK & CROW HAWK), then 3 from ESEE (3x CANDIRU; one for me & 1 for each child), 1 from BECKER (BK9) then numerous BUSSE and a few SWKW. The fit / finish and comfort / balance felt so good on the BUSSE(s) I stopped searching. First BUSSE was a SOBLE. I was hooked after that.

I only have 3 fixed blades,Busse Sob,Fallkniven F1 and GSO 5.1.It it is all I need and I'am perfectly happy with all of them.

Busse has pretty much destroyed my interest in other fixed blades, but I could see myself getting into customs at some point down the road. Trying very hard not to look at those Sasquatch's too long lol, at least not until after the BB13s are delivered. I did pick up a Skrama to check out and it's cool, but I still use my kin the most.

My only other recent fixed blade purchases have been MTech's... They've been good for grinding and modding practice. :D I didn't know about the ZT 0777/Microtech Matrix, uhhh, similarities when I picked this 20-65 up. It's a hell of of a beater slicer now though:

For me, not at all. I just got my first dozier! A k-5 Kings river semi skinner. It's for sure going to be my go to hunting knife. I can definitely see a couple more doziers in my future!

Hasn't destroyed interest in others. I definitely have a bunch of Busse but I also have various others as well. Fiddleback Forge and Bark River are great, I love the handle choices on Bark River. I have a few of those but the Bravo 1 is my fav.

Yes they have for me. I have been a Busse forum lurker for years. Sadly I was too dumb to know what I was missing. So, I bought what I thought was a Busse equal. Ya know how that goes. They do say, ignorance is bliss. I was bliss until I scored a Certified Preowned Infi Fat Ash. Well that made all my other fixed blades of lesser calibre cower in fear and shame. They quickly ran and hide in the safe. They must find great comfort in the dry darkness of a heavily fortified safe?
I have since replaced all my other fixed blades with badassery Busse bacon. My latest acquisition is a Collectors Grade Trail Scalpel BG. :) It will see some serious use in the near future. Once Pirtle is done working some magic on a pair leather chaps for it.
