I don't want to get involved, I just wanted to clarify something really quickly. Insulting someone doesn't mean you automatically "lose" an argument.
I.e.
Premise 1: I am in Texas
Premise 2: Texas is in the US
Premise 3: You smell
Conclusion: I am in the US
P3 doesn't take away the justification of the other premises. Based on P1 and P2 (presuming the truth of these premises--and they are true), and the validity of this argument (it's a valid deductive argument based on the logical principle of closure), we can still know that the conclusion is also true.
Just throwing that out there.
