Hats & Knives

If you are moving to Minnesota, you will be wanting a Stormy Kromer, or three.

I've been enjoying everyone's posts in this thread! I'm glad I stumbled upon it.

I like your knife hats, GT. I've seen a few knife company hats like those before, but I don't think I've ever seen a Rough Rider hat. I knew they made hat-knives, but not actual hats. :D

That's a good looking hat, H&S. I always like that sort of style, but I don't think it's a look I could pull off.

Gary, I'm sure my wife will laugh the same way, but with our upcoming move to Minnesota, I've been eyeing a few hats that look a lot like that.

Here's today's knife and hat combo. I experimented with some waterproofing wax on this hat a while back. It sort of worked. I'd call it water-resistant. I just started carrying the #85 recently, when I took it home with me over Christmas.

And here's something a little different. Both of these belonged to one of my grandfathers; the stockman belonged to my maternal grandfather, and the Shriner's fez was my dad's dad's.

Congrats on another national championship for the Bison, Paul!!:thumbsup::cool::cool:

I showed my Rough Rider cap with an Imperial USA knife earlier. I probably should show it with an actual RR knife. Here's the cap with a tobacco bone RR canoe:

Thank you Gary, they might be the best "not" known College football dynasty. Nice hat and knife my friend:thumbsup:

Yes, it's a hat:). I've had this Uncle Henry a long time, cut lots of things on farms, both my Grandpa's and others I worked on, back in Wisconsin and in Boy Scouts. Taken care of plenty of game too. I broke the tip off being stupid when I was in Scouts so it had a squared off tip for many years before I fixed it.

Normally wear a ball cap, but back when hurricane Sandy was due to hit New Jersey, I was to drive there that week, so I picked up this hat and now wear it when ever it's inclement weather, love the drawstring, don't lose the hat any more and the back of the hat keeps the weather off my neck too ;)

I know this was an old post but I'd love to know what that hat is. :) Oh and one day I'll get a Le Thiers, one day....
