Hats & Knives

That hat would so slap you upside the face in our winds here.

There's a reason that far ridge is covered in windmills
Nice looking country. Windmills are a very contentious issue over here at the moment.

I have been supplied with a Guardians hat and Filson vest (unseasonally cool today) from GunstockJack Knives and Haberdashery!!
Thanks Barry!! @gunstockjack

Baw-ha ! Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! I bought an O.K.C.A. membership , 2019 O.K.C.A. knife and O.K.C.A. hat. I bought a Charlie Waynorth #93 chestnut peach-seed lambs foot knife this year. I decided not to buy that knife. I received an email 2am from Gunstock Jack knives. GJKs had a bunch of both Charlie #93s. (7 or 8?) I told every body on my FB Groups , iCollectorKnives & A.A.P.K. The next morning ,I received and bunch of thank you messages. And they were all gone. The next day around 4pm , I received an invoice Email from Northwest Knives. $150 shipped --- Northwest had a cancelation and this dealer remembered Kenny the one-arm. I knew it was a blessing from G-d and I jumped on it. My two dark #93 Rams Oily Creek bones #93s with the flared heal are my favorite #93s. My #93 Charlie peach-seed jigging has the best feel. I like thicker handles , but I am so thankful. I open my GEC knives between my knees and my thumb nail. I open my gator snap knives with my feet and a CASEXX blade pick. I am up to 36 GEC knives and an A.A.P.K. club #97 knife on the way. Collecting knives makes life more fun. I dream of a GEC#97 Grand Daddy Barlow , GEC#64 Babylon Hill LB SG , more #93s for next year & club knives , and most single blade GEC knives. I am crazy for Oily Creek bone sawcut , Autumn leaf jigged bone , dark blue camel bone , Cocobolo wood , Navy blue/sapphire acrylic , dark blue jigged bone , smooth white bone , and jigged lemon pie bone. 4/12/2019 was "Rock Around the Clock"

Yeah we got a bunch of em. Our little town of Tehachapi, is kinda the epicenter of that industry. Employs a lot of folks though. On the other hand uses up a lot of good cattle ground.

More ladies and they're knives and hats. Acutaly same two, my wife and our friend Cara.

Once had a lady call and she was going to the Superbowl. She needed a new purse to go. Which team was she supporting?

My wife builds the purses and took second in this ranch horse class at this show:

Make yourself some! I like to crumble fried sausage in my gravy as its made.

I've been looking forward to trying this all week since you posted this. We don't usually get biscuits and gravy up here, but when we visit the US on holidays I've enjoyed it when we could get it. Tried making them for the first time this morning and they turned out really good. Sausage on the side, but did use the drippings in the gravy. Canadian twist... They were maple sausages :D
