Hats & Knives

Yup, cap guy myself also. I'm rarely outside without one. Both with GEC #66's.

I've been eyeing those tarp hats for a while, but figure I just wouldn't look right in one......

Past (just 'cause I had a pic from a while back). Stockman has moved on down the road since.

That's the way to do it... Just stay zen marble like until the lightning attack. Like totally Yul Brinner in "Ultimate warrior". Gosh, I can't believe I'm able to recall such crap. But Yul was quite the man...

Thanks for the belly laughs ladies and gents.

Hats off to my Russian Uncle Yuli

He was strong like Bull, though I have superior balance. LOL!

"Yul Brynner is ably cast as "The Ultimate Warrior." He wields a knife with the precision of a rabbi."

And yes my Russian family is indeed named Rabinovitch.

He was a rather small guy and if I remember well the knife he wields in "Ultimate warrior" is no bigger than a Mora and has a very similar shape. But he left no doubt in my mind that he actually could slice all these thugs to small pieces (what he did but left some to tell the legend...). Actors with a true background always won me over (think Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster, Yul Brinner, Robert Mitchum...). These guys didn't need to "show" guts, they had them plain to see in every move or stare...

I remember seeing YB on stage. He didn't look small. Not even from 100 feet away. Sometimes the personality is visibly larger than the person.

ummm...gents? "Hats and knives", please.

Hats and knives ? Pronto ! Stormy weather today, ideal for some woodbumming and taking those fixed blades for a walk...

I love hats. Especially bucket hats. Here's one that just got back from being on my head for a coast to coast tour, along with a well traveled peanut, and the Sardinian number that competes for pocket space with it.

While I love bucket hats, I've been known to sport a flat cap now and then. They seem to go well with old 300 series Peterson pipes and wood handle pocket knives.

Sometimes I find a odd bucket hat that has a peanut sized pocket in it.
