Latest hat from this summer. Bought it at my summer vacation. Had to try about 30 hats before found one that fits good and suits my tastes (big/alien shaped head).

I've been a Tigers fan (of varying degrees of intensity) for at least 65 years, but I've still never picked up a cap with the classic Old English D. Seems kind of strange not to have one when I wear a ball cap every day, year-round, and have about 15 caps in my current rotation.

I've always wanted one, but I kept getting ball caps for free, or picking them up for $5. Finally just went and bought one. It had to be the dark blue with the "D"

Yeah, paying premium prices for ball caps seems kind of silly, although I've paid more than I should have for "knife hats" (Böker, Buck, Rough Rider - probably get a Case hat sometime).

I saw two young men, quite dapper, with flatcaps walking into Tractor Supply the other day Jack Black . They were 10-11 ish. Their father was dressed more like these parts but the two lads certainly weren't!
