Hand knitted 15 years ago by my now late mother-in-law. It is very warm. I also have a pair of socks that match the hat. The knife was a gift from a good friend and fellow porch member.

My wife is always knitting something. Hats, socks, mittens, scarves, shaws; you name it! She keeps a few pieces, but gives most of it to friends, grandkids, or donates it. I grabbed this heavy double knit wool hat early last Fall, before she gave it away.
