Have you ever lost an expensive knife?

I was walking back home from my buds one rainy fall night and my sheath for my Bowie knife failed the swivel attached to the belt loupe broke and the loupe dropped the rest of the sheath turned a 45 minute walk into 3hours of searching halfway froze to death and starting to give myself pneumonia I found it on the side of the road all I can say is thank god I went with the pail bone handle I probably never would’ve found it otherwise

Doubtful. I’m sure I put it somewhere for some reason. Just don’t know what that reason or location is. All my others are accounted for, though.
That's the problem with the ARK. I put it somewhere handy where it wouldn't get lost. Where that is exactly still remains to be determined.

Yes. lost a very nice rust red GEC 09 Esquire once. Pretty sure it fell out of my pocket on a Dr's examining table. Never found it and I am pretty sure either staff or the next patient got them a darned nice knife. On a better note, Someone on the forum here gifted me a Chestnut brown one that has become one of my favorites.

Lost, fortunately no; stolen from my car, yes. However, I have lost an inexpensive knife for quite a while that is annoying to me. Schrade LB1, that I liked rotating on to my keys (basically rotated it with a SAK classic). I am holding out hope that it turns up somewhere.
