have you found "the" knife yet?

THE knife? I guess I have since it is always in my pocket for the last 20 years...Victorinox Adventurer. I think I'm using my third one now.

The Dalibor Sirius looks perfect for me, but of course it's out of my price range.

I thought I found THE knife a couple of times, until THE NEXT knife came along. Still searching...

For me it's been a medium sized Spyderco (no specific model). Be it Tenacious or a PM2, I've always had one in my pocket.

PM2. Im still gonna try other stuff because variety is the spice of life, but Im fairly certain nothin is gonna better suit what I want in an EDC knife than my paramilitary twos.

My desire for any other knives pretty much ceased when I got these two. Not to say I'll never buy anything else, but it'll have to be pretty special or unique for that to happen.

gimmejr made this one for me and it is about as PERFECT as I could ask for. Good balance-nice big choil-stays sharp-very well built. .20 A2 steel.

Mine is the Spyderco Stretch in ZDP-189 steel. I will still buy and sell and trade knives, but this one feels soooo good.

I recently found "the" knife for me, a grayman satu full Ti. Definitely sturdy enough for edc tasks and light bushcraft if you had to. I'm still looking for "the perfect" fixed blade. Any suggestions? I'm really liking the grayman fixed blades for their durability.

Josiah Gravelle Field Knife (FK) in 3V... and ... Benchmade 710-3 (M390).... and I never thought I'd ever put a spyderco on this list, but... A Mule Team 17 in K390... All great and the "one" for certain purposes on certain days.

The "one" still eludes me, an original (early to mid 80's) Colonel Coon Mule Day commemorative. My grandpa lived near Columbia, TN where Col. Coon's were made and he logged with mules and attended Mule Day often which I have pictures of. He also gave me my first pocketknife that started my love for collecting them.
