have you found "the" knife yet?

My Spyderco Sage 1 was the knife...... Until I bought a CRK left handed small Sebenza and it became the knife. It might still be the knife but my Strider SnG CC is pushing it for the title right now. Time will tell if the CRK keeps the title or not.

This Sebenza in the classic style was my favorite. Now that I have the 21, it is now my favorite. It is a large. The ultimate grail would be a large Mammoth Sebenza with Damascus steel.

Couple years ago Spyderco made Native5 and the knife went to the very top of my list. I replaced standard black g10 scales with desert Ironwood and loved the knife even more. Last summer Spyderco made 2013 Forum Native5 with dark green (favorite color) G10 scales and S110V steel. This knife is not leaving my pockets. When I do not have any pockets on me, it goes IWB. At this time I cannot imagine the knife, which can more this one to the second place.

"The" knife only exists in one form until you get it. Then "the" knife becomes another. I've found mine 4 or 5 times now and still going!

Small Insingo. Bangs around in my pocket with my keys and does everything I can think to use a knife for.

Man, I wish.

My latest "last one" is my most expensive yet, a Wilson Eagle Ti flipper.

And now I'm in the "waiting until it arrives" period, where time DRAGS. At least I sprung for next day air.

either my para 2 or my manix 2 lightweight, or my resiliance, or my rajah 3...wait a second i dont have one. every time i buy a knife i think i will find the one but i never do. Remember its not about your final result its about how you get there, or somthing like that.:D

Welp!! that's a ever-going quest for us all I think, but for me, my favorite fixed blade at the moment in time would have to be the (Bark River Bravo 1). This knife is truly hard to beat for it's size class.

As far as folders go, I don't think I will ever find the one. Been carrying an (Ontario Rat 1) for an EDC for a awhile now, but it will probably be rotated back into circulation soon.

I have found "The One" as far as pocket knives go though. The (Victorinox Super Tinker). This is my absolute favorite in pocket knives, and it's the only pocket knife that I carry anymore.

I keep finding "the" knife about every six months or so, which probably accounts for the three or four dozen lying around.

These three seen to be them, plain Jane small Sebenza 21 I traded for last year and the two below, a Pat Crawford Frame Lock from the mid 80s and a Bud Nealy Aikuchi from the same time frame both night together at one of the first ECCKS. These last two have been at my side pretty much non-stop since I bought them back then. I definitely need to take an updated pic of the two.

This is THE knife (non Bali) ...

You crack me up Matt, love the videos. That blade shape is one of my favorites, just like the BM 7
30 Ares, the Dalton is sweet where the balance point on that, on the 730 is just behind the pivot making it a tiny bit front/blade heavy but it's not so much that you can't change grips easily.

That's a big slab of Ti it looks like it might be a little handle heavy, but for that thrusting style it's gotta feel nice and secure in hand.
